This story contains rape. Story manages to be boring even as it's also trying to have surprises and be a story about a beta and an omega. The chemistry is lacking which makes the couple having sex feel rushed and bland. The scene where they confess their love for each other also lacks impact.

Like most of these omegaverse stories, this was stupid. The morals are all over the place. MC is traumatized and then pretty much victim blamed for being the way he is. He's a top and instead of respecting that, it's no but I'm your alpha so you'll submit to me and no-one else. His childhood friend reacts badly and then tries to drug him in public and abduct mc. And instead of calling it like it is, the mc (while drugged) apologizes to his obsessed stalker for "disappearing" after he was raped by his friend's sister. It'd be one thing if the friend had been an actual friend and was understanding, but he's obviously an obsessed stalker and I can't with this story. Also like some other people have said, the alpha doesn't have much personality and doesn't seem particularly affected by his fated mate. He just smirks and acts superior rather than caring. There's no chemistry between the main couple, the only good ting about this is the art, but if it's a good story you're looking for, give this a miss.

An Omegaverse story that doesn't involve rape, though nearly has sexual assault but doesn't. It gets pretty fluffy in the the end. I like the story for the most part, though there's a lot that feels more like pointlessly going through the motions, but for omegaverse stories in general the bar is in hell, so it's pretty easy to be acceptable (even if it's depressingly rare). I'm really not sure about this couple, they fight a lot and seem to have difficulty making decisions together. I feel like they're together more because of some sort of genetic based pull, then because of their feelings for each other + relationship. It's not totally believable for an enemies to lovers plot, but it's ok. I'm a little miffed at why Kotani hated Shishiruka, the reason didn't seemed to hold any water. He seems pretty emotionally stunted, and in need of doing some work on himself, though his sharp edges do blunt a bit by the end of the second volume. Still, I'm left with the feeling that Shishiruka deserved better. Kotani's brother seemed much nicer and was just as compatible, though I guess he wasn't what he seemed in the end anyway so that potential relationship wouldn't have been good either. Probably. There's better bl out there, but I'd say this is one of the better omegaverse stories simply because of the absence of rape. ¯_(ツ)_/¯ It does feel very rushed though. I don't even know how long they're been together and suddenly marriage is dropped onto the relationship! Like my god, Shishikura knows barely anything about Kotani! The audience barely knows anything about him. I know Shishikura really wanted to get married, but for crying out loud, live together a minute first! AND get to know each other! Particularly about family before meeting them. These guys just immediately marry after meeting parents and only move in together after marriage and THEN on top of that they have a kid. There's no mention of it being years later, the characters look the same, it feels like the entire plot and extras of the story happened in 2 months. So rushed...
