A young prosecutor tries his best to put a powerful man behind bars. Unfortunately he fails, as the corruption around him runs deep and the young man finds himself murdered on a dark and stormy night. A mysterious reaper asks him if he still wants to try and bring the man to justice, he replies in the affirmative and finds himself transported back in time to his school days, he has his second chance. This story is complete, and pretty good. It's very revenge driven, but our MC doesn't stray off the path of justice, despite being told that he has to become a monster in order to take his revenge. It's fine, I wouldn't say it's amazing, but it's good, and keeps you engaged. I found the pacing fine, and the characters were interesting enough. I suppose MC can feel a little bland, but honestly he's a righteous man on a revenge path, and never really struggles with doing the right thing. The art is good, but somehow bland. MC as an adult barely looks different to the child version. There's at at least 3 ladies that develop crushes on MC, but romance is never a thing in this story, so they get rejected (gently) or MC is too oblivious to even notice their feelings. The translation is shaky at times, but mostly ok if sloppy. There's spelling mistakes and stuff. Sometimes that one secretary gets called security. It's fine. I'd recommend giving it a try if you're into revenge and reincarnation.

A cancer patient gets murdered by her cheating husband and cheating best friend after being taken advantage of and manipulated for years. Our MC dies and comes to ten years in her past, with the opportunity to make different choices and get revenge on her murderers. Fun and compelling story. There's nothing else of a supernatural nature that happens after the reincarnation and from there it's just a office romance with revenge prominently featured. There's not much to the antagonists (from what I read), but they are fun to hate none the less. The romance hadn't progressed too far up to what I read, but I wasn't totally sold on the boss/employee relationship dynamic that the romance will have unless mc quits her job. ML comes off a little stalkery on one occasion, but it's not what the story is going for. The art is fine and the official translation chapters were a joy to read. Shame the person that was uploading them got harassed into stopping. People suck. As for the other chapters that aren't marked official translation, they are garbage. Really bad translation that is too incomprehensible to read, and which had me immediately dropping the story. MC at that point had mostly achieved her revenge, though there seems to be a lot of story left, so I wasn't too bothered having to drop this because of the translation. I recommend paying for the full story or visiting other sites to see if they have better translations.

School bullies as organized crime. A syndicate of bullies takes over the territory of a very strong guy through money and lawyers, the guy promises himself never to fight again and lives quietly while being beaten up by others at school. One day another guy, some big shot company president (around mc's age) shows up and throws a briefcase of money down. It basically gives mc permission to fight again and try to take down the syndicate that fucked him over. So he does, with the help of the company president and others along the way. This story is super light on plot and heavy on the action. There's barely any character and you're just supposed to let all the action carry your interest. Unfortunately it isn't enough for me. The art is good, and the translation is alright, but the characterization is really light and the plot framing is very flimsily set up. The action held my interest for some chapters, but because the story is slow to give you anything else to hold on to, it gets old fast. As a result, I lost interest, so I'm dropping this and finding something more stimulating, which should be relatively easy with how little substance this story gives readers. Also, yes, major bl vibes from the cover, and apparently very heavy bromance, though I dunno how good it could be with how bored I ended up after 17 chapters.

Villain To Kill

A supernaturally high powered individual part of a global law enforcement organization watches his friend and colleague be killed. He also then finds himself being betrayed, killed and framed by said organization. He comes back to life thanks to a mysterious entity that had previously been with his dead colleague. Mc now wants revenge for his friend, and for himself, and agrees to work with the entity in order to eventually achieve his revenge. MC wakes up in the body of a young high school boy, with new powers to master and grow. The art isn't anything super detailed or amazing or stylized, but serves it's purpose well if a little blandly. The translation is pretty good, but there are stray chapters by another scanlation group which isn't as good, fortunately all chapters translated by asura scans are also uploaded so it's simple to skip over the badly translated ones, if a little annoying. Also Asura scans does have their occasional hiccups, one being a character who's pronouns are always he/him proudly announces they are a business woman, and then continues to be referred to by he/him pronouns. I suppose they could be genderfluid or non-binary, but it's not touched upon and it's really difficult to figure out if this is a character thing or a mistranslation thing. More than likely it's the latter. The story itself is interesting, compelling and addictive, though MC is OP and barely struggles ever with anything. Other characters are also interesting, and that's what keeps things compelling as they actually have their own motivations and character. They aren't utilized very much which is a shame, and honestly MC loses a lot of his personality after he reincarnates. He goes from a hot tempered idiot with a good heart to a cool and collected bruiser. I guess death mellowed him out quite a bit. The story isn't bad, but I sometimes find myself wondering if I actually like it or not. As I said, MC is compelling only because of his revenge and who he was previously, but currently he's pretty bland. There's plenty of girls that seem to have crushes on MC, he so far hasn't acknowledged any of them, which hopefully means this isn't a harem. One of them is however an underaged girl to mc who was in his mid to late 20s at the very least (i think), which just... author why? It's literally your decision? She didn't need to be a highschooler. =_= So far it's just a unrequited crush so it's fine and it's not focused on much. Also refreshingly MC doesn't act like he's never interacted with a woman in his life, so that's nice. I don't entirely get the power scaling of the characters, it sometimes feels meaningless. Also another thing that feels pretty meaningless now, villains are always villains because of their implacable urges. They can't help, but to be evil! Except they totally can and do repress these desires with patches and what not on a regular basis. After the first couple chapters, every villain you meet is in full control and not a slave to these urges, making them just people with powers. It kind of wrecks the whole need for there to be villain zones or for them to be outcasts to society in general. Like with this patch technology why isn't the government implementing these patches to decrease crime and integrate these people into normal society? It's very weird and it's not brought up again in any way that matters after that. Another weird thing, is at the beginning MC gets someone to surrender to him in a fights, except the other party is revealed to be extremely powerful and looking back had no reason to just surrender to MC much less come out to fight him personally. It's glossed over pretty quick, but if I think about it, it starts to bother me. Despite all that I haven't been inclined to drop the story and have enjoyed reading it. Some reveals I saw coming a mile away though I'm uncertain if it's because it's such a trope or something in the art tipped me off or both. Over all, I think the story is fine, with decent action and character work. A lot of people have fabulous eyeshadow, and I'm here for it. Give it a go and see what you think!

The Regressed Son of a Duke is an Assassin

The youngest son of the duke, an illegitimate kid leads a life of struggle as he becomes his brother's assassin and helps him in his schemes for power. At the last, he is betrayed by his brother, the person he had dedicated his life to and is killed. He opens his eyes, having gone back in time to when he was 7 years old. Burning with the need for revenge, mc speed-runs getting strong and prepares to do the exact opposite of what he did in his previous life. That is, to ruin his brother's shit at every possible turn. Once again MC is some old man in the body of a child. Complete with other children having crushes on him. Thank goodness mc displays not the slightest bit of interests in any of them, but still. Ick. Princess feels pretty end game which makes it more ick, though I'm not sure this isn't a harem, just with no emphasis on romance. A bunch of girls fall for mc, and he even gets a "daughter". The other love interests are actually pretty distinct in personality and useful to the plot most of the time. I kind of like all of them, even though I absolutely don't want any of them getting with our old man of an mc. The mystery and story are interesting, and thankfully the plot does mostly focus on that. The art is really good, I like it a lot, and the translation is mostly fine, though translations by different groups were uploaded so be ready for the old name shuffle and varying quality that comes with that. There's a lot of female characters, a surprising number, but it only serves to lend further credence to this being a harem in the end. Brian the knight is about the only non-woman character that isn't a villain/antagonist that's got a good relationship with protag-kun. I hate harems, but the story and art are good, so I'd recommend giving this a go anyhow. I'm wondering if thee daughter will get more development later, she's very much the weakest "character" so far, to the point where i put character in quotations because she honestly has no personality. She might as well be a pet at the point and she's barely in the story.
