This was a great read. Am glad to have made it to the end, although I'm not entirely sure it was as satisfying as I would have liked. Still a great read with well executed action and jokes that land along the way. The ultimate power fantasy, where romance isn't annoying or objectifying and keeps finding new ways of achieving that over powered high. If over powered protagonists don't bother you, then I highly recommend giving this a whirl.

This story pretty unique in it's own right, though it's framed and starts pretty normally for a story like this. A not very talented "hunter" dungeon-explorer-dude, one day is so envious of someone who's real powerful he receives the ability to copy skills of those who kill him. Meaning he has to get murdered by someone who's got an ability he wants. First skill he copies? The ability to come back to life 24 hours before he's killed. The adventure continues from there as our MC copies more skills, develops his talents and dungeon dives, or in this case ascends a tower and clears tower floors. What I found unique was that this story also contains visiting different worlds, and our main character is actually a pretty nice guy. The author is clearly fed up with assholes just being assholes and looking down on everyone but still being the main character. I know a few of those stories, I even like some of them, but it's also nice to see someone genuinely be wholesome without also being incredibly naive and um... stupid. There's a few bits and pieces of the story that bother me, mainly to do with his power of kinda sorta being immortal but still experiencing death and how it's difficult for me not to think about the effects all that trauma should be having on his psyche. I mean there are stories where people get tortured into insanity, that's all I'm saying. <_<;; It's perhaps touched upon way later in chapters 70-something, but while I absolutely loved it, I also find it quite late in the story, especially after all he's been through up to that point. Still that's more of a me problem than anything, and I only found this story cause I was looking through the "Revenge" tag. And boy was revenge had! lol All in all, I do recommend giving this story a read. So far there isn't any romance out right, and no harems either. There's a lot of focus on the main character, so getting to know and finding stuff out about other characters is very slow going. Despite this the story is still pretty good though.

Eh... I've tried to get into this one a couple times, and I just can't for some reason. I can't even quantify what that reason is exactly, but I just want to click away and stop reading every time I start reading. Not for me, I guess. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Special twins are born to the emperor, the mother decides to immediately have the daughter gotten rid of, because of superstition. Pretty soon after some immortal cultivators come and just take the son away to train him. The daughter isn't killed but rather abandoned and is picked up by a wondering warrior who adopts her. The twins share a connection and as their martial arts develop, they end up able to talk to each other in a kind of psychic way when meditating. Thus they learn of each other's existence and help each other. The start was interesting and had me hooked, but then the translation became worse, the panel layout changed and there's an awful lot going on at all times with several different characters. Meaning, there's a lot to keep track of plot wise. If the translation were better, I'd probably have kept up, but no there's too much reading to do in all the panels to want to endure a low quality translation for. It's a real shame, cause the art is wonderful. I think there's elements of the plot that are also not really to my taste, but I'm not altogether certain because of the translation. And really, no-one can blame me for not being able to focus when they're translating teleportation arrays or spells to "warp-drives" like who the fuck isn't going to immediately be taken out of the story from shit like that???
