Plot was literally all over the place - timelines were overlapping, Mingqi says something about how his dad told him his Mom became a star (i.e. died), but turns out the Dad went to prison first and the Mom is the one who left him at the orphanage?? She's clearly not dead. It makes literally no sense. Also, it looked like Shiyi and Mingqi were similar ages but turns out Shiyi is like 3 years older?? Also Mingqi was so freaking useless and Shiyi was way too good at everything in comparison, it was so frustrating. And Baiming's storyline was so out of place. Only finished this b/c it was short and the art was nice.

Somehow managed to read 25 chapters before giving up. This was pretty freaking horrible - basically the main character doesn't remember his history w/ Jinha because he was drunk and Jinha even changed his name and never contacted him after disappearing. And so instead of Jinha telling Siwon why they actually know each other, he just tries to force himself onto Siwon in a rapey way and says shit like "You need to remember on your own. Actually, don't bother because if you don't remember it means you clearly didn't want to remember." And when Siwon wants to talk things out after finding out the Jinha is his long-lost friend, Jinha is like, "If you don't want to kiss me we have nothing to talk about" and storms out. OMFG annoying AF. And the worst part is, Siwon is also very annoying, even though he knows nothing. All these characters are horrible. Note to self: DO NOT EVEN GIVE THIS A 2ND CHANCE OMG

This was bad for sure. The whole "wolves shouldn't be with foxes" thing was literally never explained and the characters didn't seem to care about it that much. Characters said some incredibly contradictory stuff. It's never explained why the main couple even likes each other. And Ho's brother is just randomly added to the story for minimal purpose. Like he says a couple things to Kyungsoo and then Kyungsoo decides to try to rape Ho and blames the brother for it when it's like, nooo you're the one who tried to be a molester on your own??? So many problems.

read through and including ch 40. had various cringy moments where I could not stop my eyes from rolling so hard. this is pretty much just plotless fanservice, and what little plot there is is truly not good.

I swear the plot had an identity crisis. I don't understand the ending at all. It was a decent ending, but like it makes absolutely no sense considering the entire story before it. They acted like they've been sooo in love for forever and were torn apart by circumstance only to be reunited, but I feel like Jaehyun was still unsure if he loved the son or the dad up until the end, and the only reason they were separated was b/c Jaehyun ran away!?! So bizarre. Ugh, expected something much better given the synopsis. The beginning wasn't good either.

dropped 2020-10-13 04:07 marked read through ch29. Had potential to be good, but the plot is just weird man. Characters are also soo wishy washy with their feelings and their decisions. The art is good though.

I could only read through ch 30, then read ch40 + 49 + the epilogues. The plot was pretty bad (with the rampant cheating (Sarang claiming he loves Eungi so much, but has no issues cheating on him when he's drunk), Seohee being used as a plot device only (no girl would say "why can't it be meee??!" over and over again when it's so clear the guy she likes is gay. I could understand if he had a history of dating girls, but this was just ridiculous.), and Woojin being insanely homophobic also just b/c the plot needed him to be that way.

Pretty horrible. Dropped after 33 ch's. Characters make decisions & conclusions that make no sense (e.g. MC gets attacked by Juno and then ends up apologizing? Juno is a high schooler??). MC also super dumb. I don't even want to touch on how the time travel doesn't make any sense.

There are some glaring issues with the plot. Namely, were there other emperors before the 27 versions of Dojin? They were saying the cat was an emperor candidate too. And yooseung (yooshin's brother) is the one who got killed in ch1?? I don't understand why yellow dragon would get rid of yooshin's brother. Also don't understand the whole thing about yellow dragon being both the serpent & yooshin since they are pretty much on the same page. I could sort of see where the story plot wanted to go, but the execution wasn't there. The art for the backgrounds was just beautiful though, but the characters themselves looked wonky at times. The one bit of the art that bothered me a lot was Dojin's mouth. In particular how a lot of times it looks like he just has an upper lip + he's perma-frowning. idk, just a petty complaint of mine.
