Murderer Llewellyn's enchanting dinner invitation
read up to ch 18. seriously so bad, the MC is the dumbest character ever it's painful
Literature Boy
*spoilers ahead* a pretty frustrating read. the author writes the current timeline and their high school timeline kind of in parallel, so you don't really find out the "big falling out" they had in the past until near the end of the story. but the gist of the story is, Sunwoo plagiarized Haejin's previous essay and then won a competition based on it at the end of middle school. Haejin was also competing in that competition and got second place. And Haejin wanted to win for the prize money so that he could pay his father's medical bills. Whereas after Sunwoo won he just bought a video game console. And then Sunwoo was so ashamed once he found out the truth (after they had already gotten together), that he just fully ghosted Haejin?? Like it sounds like maybe they had a mini fight around that time and Sunwoo just completely ignored Haejin and they lost contact. But then at the end of this story, even in the present time, it's not clear that Sunwoo ever came clean with Haejin and told him what happened. So this whole story doesn't answer many key questions: 1. How did Sunwoo even plagiarize? we don't know, it's never said how he came across Haejin's writing before. Haejin was not previously known to be a good child writer unlike Sunwoo. also it looks like they publish the essays in a book, and clearly Sunwoo won the competition, so how did Haejin not realize that the winner's story plagiarized him? Unless he didn't care enough to read the rest of the essays? 2. Did they actually have a fight in high school? Or did Sunwoo just ghost Haejin, and then when Haejin was finally like, let's talk, and they moved to the snow - wtf did Sunwoo say to Haejin then? I swear that dialogue was just cut off by lyrics to a random american love song. 3. Does Sunwoo in present time even tell Haejin that he plagiarized his story? Did Haejin forgive him? 4. This is separate, but the whole storyline with the teacher was kinda like wuuuut. like I could see some potential but it was very like wtff
Trigger
It was a bit boring so I skimmed the 2nd half of the story
The Sacred Serpent's Seduction
The Millennial Tiger -
dropped at ch 19. there is no discernible plot it seems, or at least it's moving at a glacial pace. the hunter is trash. the tiger guy has no motives. and then there's a ton of smut but it's all very uncomfortable to read.
Cozy Obsession
dropped at ch 15. it's kind of boring. don't agree with the psychological or mature tags here.
Love in Orbit
finished ch 25 - it's boring so I skimmed the rest of it and i'm dropping it
Leveling With The Gods
read up to ch 116. it's a power fantasy regression story. it got boring because the MC was just too OP and the plot/comedic moments weren't good enough to support it. also didn't help that the translations weren't always consistent. anyway I decided to go spoil the novel for myself and there isn't that much info, but seems like most people thought the ending was pretty bad. when reading i also could feel many cracks in the story developing, particularly when it relates to the outer gods. so anyway, dropping now.
