Into the light once again
Caught up at ch 48 (there are 51 chs on other websites but I don't care enough to read the extra ch's yet). The story is pretty boring, like the whole reincarnation for revenge seems dumb, she already got the best revenge in that her whole family straight up changed to be the most supportive ppl that have ever existed. And then this whole spirit thing just added to make her more op. The way it's written also feels vaguely slice of life and I'm not a fan.
The Taming of The Tyrant
read up to ch 41 (end of season 1 - also spoiled some by reading the most recent ch 75). I just don't like it. the plot doesn't make all that much sense, since she keeps saying she wants to "destroy the empire" but doesn't really explain what that means. and the random most recent ch i read seemed a bit ridiculous. it overall felt like a chore to read this so I decided to drop
Again
caught up at ch 45. plot is really mediocre and doesn't make much sense. mostly just kept reading b/c the art was good
Finding Camellia
moving to already read (dropped) read up to ch 42. not good, like this girl is clearly not passing for a boy so idk what they are even trying here. also how dense is the young duke to not realize when he is right next to her and she's wet and wearing white clothes??? also I kept trying to figure out why the duke and both princes like her, but it comes down to beauty after all - but then in that case how can they not realize she's a girl?! it was just too ridiculous I had to stop.
Match Made in Heaven by Chance
2023-07-23 read up through ch 9. tbh they don't seem to be a match made in heaven at all. the guy's manager seems like a legit way better match. I thought it would display excellent communication from the beginning, but the MC can't even apologize when she was clearly in the wrong. and the MC was the reason they lost touch as children too dropped -> moved to already read
Monochrome Rumor
caught up at ch 80. the story is pretty much slice of life now, so it's pretty boring. unclear who we're supposed to ship the MC with at all, if anyone. just honestly dgaf about the plot
The Time of the Terminally Ill Extra
dropping after ch 21. the MC's backstory is sad but also not written in a very believable way. I think any reasonable person who still had the freedom she had would've rebelled - ditched the younger sister and gone to tea parties and made friends that way. unless the author made the parents a lot meaner and prevented the MC from ever leaving the house by herself, or prevented her from going to tea parties. the way it's written, it's like the MC was invited to parties, just didn't go because she begrudgingly felt "sisterly duty" to stay behind
