Empress of the last days
Professional sniper woman isekai'd to ancient China, which is suffering from zombie apocalypse. It's somewhat funny at times, but the constant touching and suggestive poses is getting old. Action is quite fast-paced and the story sometimes jumps a bit without warning. It's not a bad read overall.
Shotgun Boy
Prequel for Sweet Home, but so far, it's not as captivating as its predecessor. I'm not warning up to the main character, and I preferred the other artist's style over this one's. Not that it's bad, but this person likes to use a very limited color palette. The pacing is also much less intense. We'll see if it gets better.
BugCat-Capoo
Great webtoon with little to no text, yet it's very effective at communicating each story. I preferred the longer singular ones as opposed to the chapters with two stories each. The art is cute and each of the characters have distinctive traits and personalities. Capoo is the cutest but the dog is the most lovable. I especially loved all the stories where Capoo bonds with a random character who ends up dying later on, they really tug at the heart strings.
Cats Own The World
A webtoon about a cat who wants to eradicate humanity, along with his not-so-bright sidekick dog and a hamster that mysteriously disappears for long stretches of time. The hamster doesn't get much screentime, and barely plays a role. The cat is rather stupid, but it's meant to be humorous, though it works for me about 40% of the time. I don't find his antics that funny, it's the side cast's reactions to him that are more enjoyable to read. The art is very simplistic, and below average, honestly. It's cute though, so it achieves its intended purpose.
She Hates Me
Tentacle Recipe
Lame tentacle smut. Not well-drawn, flat colors, and an obvious lack of creativity. Seems like the author just threw a bunch of CGs together without trying. No plot at all. Just tentacles, and it's not steamy, to boot. For those who want to read more, it's on Lezhin under "Tentacle Recipe."
Feng Ni Tian Xia
Was interesting until timeskip, where the main character proceeds to make horrible decisions in love and everything else. The story involves a top notch assassin dying and getting isekai'd to a fantasy ancient China where people are summoners. She gets a hack item that allows her to be one of the strongest summoners in this world, and many take an interest in her. There's a decent revenge plot going on until she becomes too OP and crushes everyone around her, and she decides the worst guy out of all the potential love interests. Art is clean and good, with solid lines and colors.
The Goal is to Become a Gold Spoon so I need to be Completely Invulnerable
Somewhat decent webtoon that has a reverse harem set up. Female lead finds herself in a book in which her character dies an early death, and is determined to avoid that fate. She's actually competent and manages to set up some traps to defeat her enemies, but she has a lot of help from all the bishounen guys around her. Plot is boring, but it's readable, compared to other shoujo isekai stuff. Art is also good.
Kiss Me, Liar - Special Episodes
Not sure why they're making side stories for this because the original storyline was basically wrapped up already. It's about the son of the main characters, and I guess explores his romance with another boy his age or something, kind of like Blood Link? Dunno if this is an actual new season or just a long side story. Either way, it's boring and clearly an attempt to milk more money for this series.
