i’m really enjoying this, although it’s difficult to keep up with all these characters and their affiliations. i suppose paecheon palace and their allies are the bad guys…? i have no real clue as to what’s going on, but i’m loving the fights and the dynamic nonetheless, so hopefully i’ll start to grasp these unfolding events soon enough! edit: i adore so-mun and he deserves the world. i just want him to be happy!!! my precious lil’ bean. edit #2: well, he’s kinda murderous… but still a precious (!) lil’ bean. edit #3: ohhhh, fuuuck. edit #4: OHHHMAAAGAAAWD, SHE PREGGERS!!!!!! i love this manhwa. edit #5: welp. that got dark real quick. sighhhh.

I. LOVE. THIS. dude, this guy’s such a hard worker. i respect him IMMENSELY. i just wanted everything to work out for him in the end, and it did!!! i feel as though i could legit cry from admiration for jihyun, though. he remained consistently decent, humble and forgiving through everything. loved to see sangmin’s redemption arc by the end there, too! i genuinely appreciated that. anyone with regrets and guilt for the misdeeds they might’ve done in the past deserves a second chance. at least i think so. so glad that was incorporated into the story. either way, this has been an incredible journey with amazing character and excellent character development. i remember sobbing like crazy water having read certain chapters, lol. #146 got me in my feels. fucking hell, it’s just so good... y’all wouldn’t understand unless you’ve read it yourselves. i even reread the story a couple of weeks before its completion because i missed the characters and wanted to relive the those thing. so worth it. thank you so much for this, dear creator(s)!!! i’m looking forward to seeing more of your work in the future. <3

haha, four chapters in and i can already tell that this is about to become a favorite. amazing! edit: this is so fascinating!!! this is PACKED with complex and interesting characters. the plot’s amazing, too! it seems as though i really hit the jackpot with this one. edit #2: such an IMMENSE power elite, wow. i’m so weak for shit like this. i’m struggling to contain myself, lol. it just keeps getting better and better. and bira is so fucking cool!!! i love how everything’s starting to come together more and more every chapter. this is bound to have an epic conclusion later on, i’m sure. although i bet it’s a few years away from this very moment, lol. 87 chapters and it still feels like it’s only the beginning.

i haven’t even started yet and i can already tell it’s bound to be a five star, lol. edit: 0.0 whoaaa. this really IS exotic, lololol. or toxic, more like… an odd duo either way. really intriguing thus far!!! edit #2: this is so good, man. i love the ambiguity of it all! as well as the dynamic between the main characters. really, this one’s an enigma to me. so much toxicity… yet i honestly can’t help but wish for them to get together. i just want them to start fresh. however, and whenever, their story ends, all i wish is for them to be happy respectively. or, if i would dare dream of more, i wish for them to make each other happy. maybe that could be a new start. they’d have such a long way to go, though… and this is not something i’d normally want to see, but i feel for these two. really, i do. humans are beautifully flawed creatures… and i love how the creator truly demonstrated that here. this is really, really good. melancholic and depressing, without a doubt, but so fragile and delicate all the same. i never thought i’d say this when i first started out, lol! there are so many complex mental issues they need to work through, seriously—jung jaehan especially. he might be one of the more damaged characters i’ve ever come across in the world of manhwa thus far, lol… which should say a lot. anyway, it seems as though there’s one one chapter left of the main story, so i’m excited to reach its conclusion! and i’ll be even happier to see its continuation. ^^ edit #3: reading the side chapters and my heart is finally dancing. <33 edit #4: …um, i take it back. they’re both preeeetty damn fucked up in the head, seriously. why do they treat each other like this, and WHY do they not seem to hate it? or at they both just… masochists…? this is pretty wack, not gonna lie. still love it, though. that’s my sword queen!!! i adore her. and the story as a whole, obviously. she’s really, really admirable and a great female lead. binged this whole thing until i passed out and then continued the minute i woke up this morning, lol. i have no regrets, though! it’s truly amazing.

HE’S SO ADORABLE, THOUGH. i’m going to love it, for sure! just need some time to process. ;_; this shit gives me anxiety, but i’m low-key a masochist so it’s all good. this boy is the most adorable, precious lil’ bean, y’all. this is quite relatable, actually! edit: this is devastatingly embarrassing. its been 20 minutes and i’m not even past the second chapter. i think i’m dying. c’: edit #2: oh my god, this naive, precious little thing. HOW CAN A PERSON BE THIS INNOCENT??? IT’S KILLING MEEEEE. just realized this around chapter 20, but haesol is giving off major aspie vibes. (which is also relatable, by the way. lol!!) i feel like i’m a mix between yeonwoo and haesol, to be honest. well, in some ways, at least. it’s quite fascinating! edit #3: UGHHH, I SERIOUSLY CAN’TTTT. I KNOW I’M A BROKEN RECORD, BUT HE’S SERIOUSLY TOO ADORABLE FOR THIS WORLD, BYE. edit #4: i should’ve said this earlier, but i really appreciate the fact that the ‘stereotypical gender roles’ have switched with these two. it’s a nice change, and i’m genuinely loving this development! the pacing is great, too. and so realistic!

one chapter in and i can already tell… i’m about to be completely amazed, aren’t i? edit: HE’S SO FUCKING COOL!!! what an amazing character he is. i seriously can’t locate even one flaw… but there must be at least one, right? lololol, this is getting interesting. edit #2: … …did i seriously waste 20-25 minutes writing a full-fledged review of this masterpiece on here only to have it DISAPPEAR ON ME???? un-fucking-believable. either way, i don’t have the energy to rewrite everything. just know that it’s spectacular and i’m seriously impressed by the creators. it’s giving me INSANE solo leveling vibes. although i don’t know exactly why; the plots aren’t at all similar to each other. however, i’m guessing it’s because of the insane buildups and climaxes consisting throughout the whole thing. these authors know how to keep their readers engaged, that’s for sure. it might also be the fact that MC is on a whole other level of superiority than his peers in each respective story, lol. either way, solo leveling is my absolute favorite comic there is, so to say that this one is ‘similar-but-not-at-all-similar’ is seriously high praise. you must check it out if you haven’t already! (it has a 9.9/10 rate on here for a reason, you guys.) but anyway!!! to put it simply, this is fucking epic. EPICEPICEPIC. pure epicness. i’ve read some amazingly written martial arts comics lately, but this one is definitely at the top. (if y’all want some OTHER martial arts story recommendations, i recommend checking out that martial arts tag of mine! it has about 100 comics in it as of right now.) sigh. what a day. believe it or not, but this review is actually shorter and way less detailed than my previous one, lol. i’m feeling less eloquent by the minute, y’all!!! have mercy.
