it was quite slow at the beginning, but i quite enjoyed it and thought to myself that it deserved a 4 star rating however slow the plot was. but, after immersing myself further with the story, i find myself hooked and in love with the mc. i felt attached to him, he's not the normal damsel in distress u see in other manhwas. he's strong, not easily hurt by mere words however hurtful they were. he was the one who brought out the development in his love interest. ngl, i cried a lot thruout the story. it broke me in so many ways but some were so wholesome, i was tearing up. it dealt with a lot of sensitive topics that maybe some readers would be uncomfortable but in the end, i felt that it is still worth a read. i have to say, this story has impacted me in ways no manga/manhua/manhwa can. love love love <3

non-spoiler i really enjoyed the first season! i was considering on a 4 star but i really enjoyed the environment/magical system that i feel id think abt this story again in the near future. totally a bl id recommend to my friend. it certainly had me reading it nonstop. not saying it was an easy read but the plot thickens in ways that i couldnt stop myself from continuing. it left me wanting more. spoiler: i may be bias here but hey u cant tell me the art wasnt pretty-- it was phenomenal. i felt like it's worth being animated into. the scene where they danced in the garden had me having butterflies in my stomach. but anyway, this 5 stars rating is for u too, dandelion. i could only imagine the pain id go thru in season 2 because i wasnt really comfortable with the way wolfgang claiming that shin was his at the end. it felt like shin is again shackled to the royalty (in this case, other than doing his duties as the new minister). but i cannot say much on this matter as i havent continued to s2 yet! hope everything will go well... who am i kidding. lets go and enjoy another roller coaster ride, yea !

read this a long time ago but just decided to make an acc. but i still remember how this made me feel. i loved it. would totally recommend!

i was quite uncomfortable at first. but i started loving the characters going thru the story! made me cry buckets. was it worth the read? yes i truly think so. 4/3 another reread and omg i cried so much then, and so much now..
