honestly, this is so different from what ive usually read. it kept on making me think that maybe it could end great for everyone but then went 'sike u think' at every few chapters. but i think jaehyun deserved that. as a person, i would think that jaehyun mustve suffered a lot mentally but the author doesnt seem to show jaehyun's weak side. it makes me think hes a natural masochist? but honestly, this is an easy read, it's quite a forgettable read but entertaining in itself! read this in one sitting--i guess thats proof of it being an easy read. beautiful art! love the art so much. it has potential to be a good love story seeing how messed up the backgrounds of both characters! if there were a s2, i might pick it up.

non-spoiler i really enjoyed the first season! i was considering on a 4 star but i really enjoyed the environment/magical system that i feel id think abt this story again in the near future. totally a bl id recommend to my friend. it certainly had me reading it nonstop. not saying it was an easy read but the plot thickens in ways that i couldnt stop myself from continuing. it left me wanting more. spoiler: i may be bias here but hey u cant tell me the art wasnt pretty-- it was phenomenal. i felt like it's worth being animated into. the scene where they danced in the garden had me having butterflies in my stomach. but anyway, this 5 stars rating is for u too, dandelion. i could only imagine the pain id go thru in season 2 because i wasnt really comfortable with the way wolfgang claiming that shin was his at the end. it felt like shin is again shackled to the royalty (in this case, other than doing his duties as the new minister). but i cannot say much on this matter as i havent continued to s2 yet! hope everything will go well... who am i kidding. lets go and enjoy another roller coaster ride, yea !

this is honestly a fast read. and im a slow reader, so that speaks volumes. started off great. it’s just that i dont like how the father is portrayed a sociopath to make us choose seojin easier?? but then again, u dont just hold someone for 4 years from achieving their dreams in germany w/o being a natural jerk urself right? it has subtle music elements, nothing too serious or too confusing. it doesnt really contribute much. there were lots of smut scenes. doesnt really have a strong plotline. but given how the artist made it into a few chapters only, i understand why the pacing seemed a bit off and hurried in some places. all in all, it gave me heartaches at certain chapters but not too serious ones. i wanted a hardcore betrayal from the male interest but we didnt get it but thats fine. few chapters means smaller character’s arc.
