hmm idk bc the rape and the way he ‘showed love’ and how the author kinda wanted them to be together even tho he basically raised him was awful but honestly this poor kid was raised w no love and was lowkey a psycopath so as horrible as it is its understandable why he did what he did bu then like the course of action and the gardeners reaction was all wild to me idk. needed to be longer and more indepth for even a sliver of justification
