Otome Yankee wa Unmei no Hito wo Matsu
Ever since he was little, Kijima has dreamed of one day finding his special fated love, just like in all the fairytales he would read. His father and brother heavily ridiculed him for his interests, so he took on the image of a delinquent instead. Though, his love for cute things and fairytales remained. To confirm if his fated special love is indeed somewhere out there, he goes to see a fortune teller, who in turn informs him that his special someone might be a man, and the he will meet him before he gets home today…!?! —- Cute story, I’m a sucker for gap-moe. I found it oddly nice how Kijima was quick to accept that his special love was probably a man, it’s refreshing to not have the protagonist be in complete denial about the concept of homosexuality. Anyway, aside from that, I don’t have much to say. The story felt a little rushed(?), and the things that happened didn’t really have much of an emotional impact. Things just kinda… happened. It was cute, don’t get me wrong, there just wasn’t really much to get attached to in either the plot nor the characters.
