She reincarnated but didn't remember the story well/ didn't finish it and ended up getting "close" to the psycho villain who has rare dark powers, now he's obsessed with her to the point he'll kill those she's close to. Although he hasn't killed anyone after she told him when they were kids not to kill anything. I think he does love her but his childhood was so messed up he doesn't know how to feel or show love.
