Sumire's manga / #Possessive lover(82)

A collection of souffle stories, lite and fluffy, but not leaving much of a taste either. The first couple had the usual I'll rape you because I love you and I don't know how to express it any other way storyline - which must be a cultural thing - it's okay to forgive a possessive lover for raping you.

Stock story, stock conflicts between lovers. The uke in the first story falls in love at first sight. I have a hard time with tropes like that, because I think people do fall in lust at first sight, but love is more complex. Also, he's such a sterotypically wimpy uke that he's willing to let the seme use him just to get close to him. The second story involve's the seme's twin brother who's in incestuous love with his uncle (mother's brother). The artwork was good and the romantic scenes plenty sexy, but the overall plots were tired.

Actually a rather complex plot with crosses and double crosses aplenty. Unfortunately there is also a lot of rape, but given the context, it's kind of expected for a prison drama.

A plot which makes little sense - not sure why the sister had to kill herself - if only to prevent her own rape? And then the poor little uke caught in the middle - beautiful artwork can't cover up the plot holes in this.

That last couple Hard and Dust I wanted to see so much more of them. Great storytelling on the second pair (moreso than the first).
