The emotional intensity of this story comes from all the things I never liked in the romances of my childhood - possessive rape, Stockholm syndrome like co-dependency, violent jealous rape, no one being honest but suffering for how they think they're 'supposed to be'. Ugh. Still, it kept me engrossed and I read it all. But it felt suffocating.

In my top 10. Witty, sexy, and smart. I laughed out loud when I wasn't being charmed by the yakuza's wild approach to the doc. This can't be the same HONMA Akira who wrote those other terrible yaoi action manga...

Reads like bad fiction written by a teenager.

Great story, different, gorgeous art style.
