The sword would be some kind of signal. But bc her father sucks at showing affection for some reason she misunderstood it. Does no one know what their prince looks like lmao After rereading the first few chapters I don’t know if we’ll ever get an explanation for what the dad and prince’s plans were, since the timeline is now different. Also the art seems so rushed compared to the early chapters :(
