Hybrid Child
Hybrid Child is absolutely beautiful, just as expected for a piece by Nakamura-sensei. The story itself is one of sensei's shortest, but this one, I think, really shows why she's one of the most successful BL manga artist today, and why so many of her works have been adapted into animes. Even if you usually shy away from tragedy, read this one - it is well worth the tears that will be shed by the time you reach the ending. The OVA is gorgeous and even more heartbreaking. A small balm for the painful lack of closure in this story: the strong parallel/resemblance to the main characters in Sekai-ichi makes it easy to believe that Kuroda and Tsukushima will be reunited in another lifetime as Takano Masamune and Onodera Ritsu.
