Shit it hurts. Now we know why Yumi put up with all those beatings. It hurts me that they hurt each other; it's wrong but it wasn't their fault. Give perspective on what people in abusive relationship go through.

The premise was great; an abused kid sold in prostitution by the adult he trusted then got saved by friend who sincerely loved him for who he was despite his condition. Unfortunately, 5 chapters are not enough to capture that so it felt a bit half-assed. Give it another 5 chapters would be great; deepening the angsty drama and developing the characters a bit further and deeper into more mature.
