I have a lot of thoughts regarding this manga but they're all jumbled up together because of the overwhelming emotion that I currently feel. My initial thought was this is just a typical brotherxbrother crazed obsession. Hikaru the little brother, traumatized by his own experience being "abused" and neglected (in terms of feeling, especially by his mother) by the adults around him, express his love towards his brother by (sexually) abusing him in returns. Haruki being the kind-hearted big brother, excited to welcome a new family, instead of strictly stopped Hikaru's treatment towards him since the FIRST TIME the incident happened, he let it go until the situation wouldn't favor him. At this point, I'm still thinking that it's typical plot, Haruki will end up fall in love Stockholm Syndrome style and forgive him and then they'll be happily live together. But no. The ridiculous stubbornness that he, Haruki, could somehow controlled anything of what was happening really irritates me. When he finally (somehow) found solace and fall in love with his senpai Hanabusa-san, I thought that "Ok, this is your chance to drag yourself out of your misery". But no. Even when the situation allowed him to be understood (the christmas tragedy), he kept his mouth shut, holding on to whatever it was (pride? shame? guilt? sense of responsibility?) and refused to confide and seek for help to someone who he knew he was in love with. True I also blame senpai for not pushy enough but I can't blame him because his response was something a normal healthy minded person would do. Now, among all of the character involved, I'm gonna be honest, I put the blame mostly on Hikaru. What he did to Haruki was indeed despicable but what I despise the most about him is that he seemed to not repent on everything that he did. True that he KNEW that he what he did to his brother was wrong but that's because he loves him and he can't be without him! And based on spoiler description by user @EmeraldPrincess on 180128, his staying alive is his atonement of his sin on abusing his brother, like fuck what bitch?! He seemed to not feel guilty to the people around him who also got hurt as a result of his action: her mother and father (the real victim here in my opinion). I know he must be feeling guilty that her mother died in the midst of this chaos that he created but it wasn't towards his mother! he only accepted and forgave his brother involvement in his mother death (like bitch I don't know how could the only thing that occurred in your mind that "yeah I forgive you for what you done to mother" I'm stabbing myself at this point). Hikaru is broken beyond help. Based on the spoiler, I couldn't feel at all that he really repents on his sins. Second, Haruki. Wed know he's a victim. But I can't help thinking, after all of this, that you reap what you sow buddy. From the start, he, in my opinion, didn't try to stop what befallen on him. He's a freaking adult! How can you just "accept" getting raped by your brother and think that "boohoo I can't do anything, he threatened me". Yes yo do! And by letting this continue you actually made it worse, proven now that his adoptive mother dead. He never once seek help to anyone, ANYONE! I mean, aren't you feel miserable? Won't you get out of this situation? The problem won't be solved if your just keep everything happened. He's too kind for his own that destroyed him. By the time this was written, the manga has not been finished translated so there must be a lot of unexplained things, but based on the spoiler, I'm disappointed of how it ends. Not in sense of the story, but the characters decision, Hikaru and Haruki, to be TOGETHER in the end. I can't seem to fathom how could you still be with someone that hurt you, twist you, break you to the point of no return. I understand that you can and you may forgive the ones that ever hurt you, no matter how big their sins to you are. But never, never ever stay to the one thing that hurt you. I believe in 3 things on repentant: accept your mistake; ask for forgiveness (to anyone that you hurt, including yourself); and the most important thing, MOVE ON. I never wished for Haruki to get back together with senpai, sweet if they did, but I'm if they didn't. But Haruki and Hikaru, getting back together? Nuh uh. Find happiness somewhere else. They can still contact each other, meet some other time, but being back in their old relationship, it's out question for me. I really just wish that they find happiness, but not with each other.

It's so sad that this is getting lumped in the same tag as any other fetishized rape. We get to see the struggle of 2 boys, within their still innocent perspective, trying to survive and live after getting tainted by some irresponsible devil scumbag of adults. Oh god I was furious towards the father and that sensei. May any real men like those get their dick rotten from disease.

Senpai is gay neko >> well, glad they hit it off Ch. 4: [unidentified monster] middle school boy always encountered strange appearances since wnd grade; monsters, ufos, and the likes. Told them to a childhood friend but he brushed it of so kid confessed to school nurse. Eager to prove his experiences, he tried to took pictures but failed, collapsed, ridiculed by friends, complained to nurse, only to get raped by him. Childhood friend found out and called the cops. Apparently, it wasn't monsters the kid saw, they were child predators (various may I add, not only the school nurse, I guess aliens in the park were homeless people or some sort) who had raped him since 2nd grade >> fucked up shiiieeeettt. Those rapists could rot in hell for all I care oh poor kid he's traumatic now his mind broke Ch. 5: [loser's pathetic revenge] a virgin loser kidnapped and tried to kill a random popular boy but end up being the boy's toy, getting railed and such. but the boy and the loser end up liking each other in a fucked up way >> stockholm syndrome kind of thing. liking how the loser just succumb into the pleasure, in a bad way All in all this was a great compilation and damn that ch4 got me riled up in fury like I would kill for those scums for that kid and it must be traumatic too for his childhood friend for he's unable to realize the problem sooner

This is actually pretty mild considering Harada sensei other works. Yoru dude is once weird guy, I ship him with onii-san tho; Asaichi is too much of a jerk for Yoru

What a dick move, raping your troubled friend. Gosh I would probably be depressed forever

The 2nd story was great. Wish they develop that story more.
