Daidai no Recipe
Yukihiko fell in love with his own father and to repressed his feeling, he pushed his father aside. But when his father died, he was in shambles and the only person who could put him together is his nephew and only family left, Tooru. When Tooru finally fell for Yukihiko, he left, leaving both of them alone and miserable. But eventually they came to known each others feelings and they lived happily together again. Dang. Is it that easy to just accept that you love your own blood relative romantically and then having an incestuous relationship with your own sister's son? But that aside, I feel that the story is still lacking in its climax. The incestuous relationship is the core element of the conflict in this story, and because of the nature of incest, I expect that the problem won't be resolved by just a mere confession! Don't the characters have some morals? Their inner battles are just too weak compared to the problem that they're having. For comparison, I think Not Equal did better in playing with this taboo subject.

Not Equal
Easily one of the best manga I've ever read. I couldn't even describe how beautiful this manga is. I've always tiptoeing around incest theme; not that I hate it, but it's not something I would categorically great in general and it's mostly because of my morals. But this manga able to present something so controversial and taboo and not to mention sinful into something so painful but yet also beautiful at the same time. This predestined situation is no ones wishes but nobody could run from it so they just have to accept it and try to be happy while shouldering all the sin. I mean, is it even really a sin, when everyone try to do right thing but the every option just lead to the same result? Hell, there even only one option. This is a must read for all newbie fujoshi.
