Mashita No Fudanshi-kun
Imma be honest I'd give this manga a 3-star because of the typical uke; not just it physical form, but also his personality is 2-dimensional. What saved this manga is our fudanshi-kun; he's a one exceptional character. He's the true embodiment of the readers, and not in terms of his characters but of how meta he is. Most of the time, I found a fudanshi character as some sorta replacement for readers, a first person experience in the story. Here in this manga, fudanshi-kun was like a narrator, unabashedly dissecting readers mind, made us realize how perverted our thoughts are. The supposedly mediocre story became astounding because it accept the flaws of the genre, and instead of succumb to the pattern, it mocked it and laughed while also riding on it. And because of those reasons, I added another 2-star for this manga.
