A closeted gay who met with his high school confident gay friend, frustrated of his crumbling life (divorced, unemployed, child support, basically living in lie his whole life) he lashed out too his friend, now neighbor, raped him and abused him. When he finally at the bottom, he finally saw that denying his true self was what caused all his problems and now his friend by his side, the only one who understand and support him, he accepted himself and move on with his life. Albeit cliché, this was beautiful.
