Threads of Love
Meh. There's no actual, real conflict here. Maybe this is for some gutsy, not-supposed-to-read-yeat, 15yo-and-below readers. The story and its progression was very shallow, not challenging for more adult readers. Also, what with people started uploading licensed manga DIRECTLY from its site? I'm grateful for these kinda people for being kind for sharing. But not like this. I'm fine with the scan teams; they bought the manga themself and do all that jazz until the mangas are translated then share them, all for free. The effort, while the overall operation is hurting the artist in the process, is the teams' alone. I'm fine by that bcs they share what they made themselves (sans the comic itself). But this?? Not just the comic, but the translations and all the hardworks were stolen. And I'm uncomfortableby that. But true, readers are also to blame. If there are no demands, there won't be supplies. What I'm hoping is there would be no more direct-from-publisher uploads like this anymore. There are still a lot untranslated, unlicensed manga to work on to.
Zhenniao
This is genius. The story was extraordinary; the idea of a poison-eating, half human-half bird creature was magnificent. And the author got the idea from eating blowfish. It was thoroughly written with full knowledge of biology and transformed it into a mythical fantasy. I especially impressed by ch 6; the process of pollination of Arisaema flower, its sex-changing process could be told in romantic way.

This whole manga is like kirby with a knife, drawings all cute and fluffy but then the story stabs you mercilessly And the part where kin gave up his kids for adoption really WRECKED me. I'm sobbing

I believe bohra-sensei has been around for a long time making yaoi manga but to read this one and still got the feeling of reading some outdated yaoi is... Big disappointment
