translation sucks but the story is engaging. kinda confusing what is happening now cuz the translations are sucking. okay now just waiting for official translated chapters cuz yeah i can't get through the fan scans. basically girl and whole family gets killed by this crown prince but then she goes back into the past 6 years earlier. to save her family, she becomes this prince's attendant and gets close to him. actually right now he is pretending to be a girl. i guess so the other prince doesn't see him as a rival until he is ready to fuck them all over lol. and right now the female lead is just trying to win over trust of the prince through working for her. but even with good translations actually i feel like some parts are weirdly placed in. honestly after 2 seasons, the drama is too much. like 0 romance between ml and fl, they don't even trust each other at this point......... but so much political and family plots and suffering of ml just trying to survive everyday......

ch 61. very good so far, though i don't like this sibling conflict cuz they obviously love each other. i just wish the brother could be saved, especially cuz sica wanted so much to find him, but i guess since he is the villain he will be exterminated.

ML looks like he stepped out of a 2010 yaoi manga lol girl is daughter of a king and slave so she was raised as a slave. but one day king came to get her to marry her off to a duke for political gain cuz king didn't want to actually marry off one of his precious daughters. then this empire got taken over by the empire of the male lead and the girl got taken as a slave. after she worked as a housework slave, she also spent some time helping with medicine cuz she grew up in an apothecary. then the archduke, our ml, takes her as his personal attendant on his year long journey to survey the empire. they start developing feelings for each other along the way, the archduke developing faster than her. there's some very funny running joke of everyone thinking the archduke is gay cuz that's what he told his dad to avoid marriage. pretty sure this author is into yaoi from these jokes and the art style. one night they finally kiss. but next day nobody says anything and fl starts avoiding ml a bit and she thinks he did it just playing around with a maid. now he feels terrible about doing it. meanwhile trigger, a horse worker guy proposes to her to have a mutually beneficial marriage. cuz he's gay and she's a slave. he will get a cover wife and she can be bought out of slavery by him. she tells him the truth about her having been royal but he doesn't really understand the significance, just shocked she is 6 years older than him. well she accepts the proposal thinking it's probably the best choice even though she starts thinking about ml as well. they realize someone heard their convo and know fl is the princess so trigger runs off after the eavesdropper. but he doesn't find anyone and then can't find chloe. he reports to ml and they go out searching for fl. but fl has met a granny who is connected to ml somehow and she takes fl in for the night. also the eavesdropper is a boy working for granny and she considers him her son. archduke and granny meet and he is taken to fl. ml hears granny's name and knows her family was supposed to be executed for treason and wonders how she hid herself in the mountains. he goes to kill granny but fl stops him. fl gives ml a diary of his mother from the granny. he learns his mom loved him but his dad was cruel to her so she became resentful and crazy. also more info on his older sister that his dad gave away cuz wanted a son. and the sis looks so much like fl that i'm getting scared it's some incest thing lmao and after reading for some reason the ml rushes to find fl by the water and he confesses his love and they kiss.....wtf i am confused with this pacing.

ch 69. evil duke? with tragic backstory and the girl who saves his soul from hell/death. she is pretty weak and useless so far, but ok the romance is there and the ml is fire. personality and looks. ugh this fl is fucking annoyingly useless. literally can't do shit to protect herself. prefer her sister's personality over this shit. also ml needs to loosen up cuz all that super possessive behaviour is just not cute anymore.

female demon lord and knight. she wants to die. he is pure and strong and wants her to live actually. he's grateful she took him out of his village and he can see the world. so technically right now he wants to protect her instead of kill her like she intends him to. she's supposedly training him to be stronger smarter so one day he can kill her. he has some magical abilities that come out when he's really in danger. one day in town he met another "human" and invited him to talk and stuff. that human is actually the demon queen's closest ally and commander of the army. they are now both on the same side, working to take down these people who want to kill and replace the demon queen with another guy. but the commander is keeping his identity a secret. and human doesn't know who he is though he felt deja vu and it's pretty obvious from his appearance lol. anyway, they are on an trip to survey the country and were attacked by the enemies. somehow the fucking demon queen slept through it....... the guy's magic came out a bit to protect them. then the commander came as a human for some reason?! but the enemies got scared and left. demon queen wakes up and misunderstands the situation like it's the two humans planning her assassination. but she's happy that the guy is finally trying to kill her. guy doesn't want to tell her the truth of who is behind the assassination cuz he doesn't want her to get happy and willingly be assassinated. ml has realized the other human he met is the commander. commander tells ml his past and they are bonding well. BUT MOTHERFUCKING THEN WE SEE HIM ON HIS FUCKING DEATHBED BEING KILLED BY THE RED CENTIPEDE SOCIETY'S LEADER, THE GUY WHO WANTS TO BE DEMON KING WTFFFFF ABEL CANNOT FUCKING DIE LIKE THIS. ok i read the ending, which is chapter 45. they kind of imply getting together.......but we don't really see any romance..... ml becomes king of humans. fl is just a normal demon now and wandering around, coming to see ml at night. all of fl's previous demon subjects are dead or fled. ml beheaded fl cuz he knew it was his prophecy to do so. but then he tried to kill himself cuz he couldn't go on without fl. that's when the omnipresent being brought back fl but in a normal demon body. so she doesn't want to die anymore and ml doesn't want to die now with fl alive......

in first chap we see her confessing to the wrong guy and he happily agrees. then we go through 40 chapters of a flashback showing how we got there lol..... she reincarnates into this world as an orphan. gets picked up by local church and decides to join them as a priestess cuz it's easier than trying to make it out ther eon her own. the commander of the knights sometimes visits their church to rest and get healing when he sleeps or something. she just sits there all night silently watching over him lol cuz he hates even the littlest noise like flipping a page or a candle's flicker. one day the head priest asks her to go join a war effort cuz every church was asked to volunteer a healer. initially she says no but then he tells her the payment and she quickly agrees. on the journey she meets the knight commander again and there's the crown prince and many other soldier. she has some problems with the other healers from the royal family's church in the beginning. cuz prince asked her to heal over the royal healers. but that passes without too many problems when her friend sticks up for her. some time in the middle she gets insomnia and takes pills like the ml does cuz he also has super bad insomnia. one night she actually sits with him like she does back at their church. anyway, so they go on the journey fighting back against the enemies. one time there is a serious injury and she blames herself. actually she is getting frightened of seeing so much bloodshed and death. she loses her powers cuz priestesses need faith to heal. then ml comes and places his hand over hers and says he believes in her and she needs be calm. she is super desperate and releases a huge amount of healing power. heals everyone in a wide radius, even the enemies. after that the enemies are happy to give up their small country to be part of the empire since it means they'll be under her protection and healing lol. and they start heading back to the capital. along the journey she kinda fell for the prince cuz he's just so charming but he's really fake like you would expect from a prince. so at an afterparty she decides to confess to him cuz it's now or never, the war is over. she drinks a glass of super high alcohol wine and gets very drunk. she confesses thinking it's the prince but it was the knight commander, the ml who is going to succeed a duchy. he asks why she likes him and she lists out some things but then she falls unconscious. he brings her back to her room but later she wakes up again and goes to the same spot outside to see if it was real or a dream. he is there again and asks if she remembers what happened. she is about to tell the truth that it was meant for someone else but he happily says to call him by his name and seems happy to have received the confession. after that she can't bring herself to tell the truth. so they kinda start being together and he takes her on hikes to show her beautiful scenery. but one time she and the prince are talking. she falls and catches herself on a tree but still he comes up behind her and hugs her. ml sees and gets angry, pulls her away. demands to know what happened and why she is always focused on the prince. she is surprised he knew but made up a lie about prince being her first love and now she likes ml so no worries. ml is happy and says they should work hard together to overcome her residual feelings for the prince. after that they get to the capital and there's a huge ball to celebrate their victory in war. the duke buys her a beautiful outfit and teaches her to dance. so many ppl in the capital cheer for her and call her a saintess. ofc there are nobles who look down on her cuz of her background though. now at the ball she slips away after her dance with the ml. ml was called away by some of his family members to discuss succeeding the duchy cuz his father is in a coma and his older brother died?? someone attacked his family and he was only surviving member but he wishes his older bro were still around to succeed instead. he's really not interested in being duke and actually gets offended when ppl call him duke. meanwhile fl meets the prince but he doesn't say anything to her weirdly. as she's going to walk away after some pleasantries, he blocks her and holds her hand and asks like i thought you liked me so how come you're with the knight commander now? and he fricking says how about we have an affair omfg...but thankfully she is like wut you saying and they have some convoluted convo where she says he's using her like a pawn and he says true in the beginning but not now. confusing. anyway ml comes and offers to lead her back and she happily accepts and he's happy to see her so relaxed with him. but fl is still thinking about her survival as utmost important, not saying all truth to ml.

looked good from the art but the story is so dumb and typical and the smut is nearly non-existant. basically girl treated poorly by family cuz her mom was a mistress. somehow she catches eye of a prince and he takes her as his bride. it's kind of a story of him healing her cuz she was so abused. she used to sing and that's how they met i think. thought there would be hot smut, but it's all covered.
