pretty cute story all around, but nothing too spectacular and the falling in love seemed to happen out of nowhere for both. uke has ability to understand and talk to birds. seme can take over the mind of birds. one day seme as bird randomly sees uke and says his food looks good offhandedly. uke actually replies and seme is surprised. some days later uke helping a baby bird who fell out of the nest. he can't climb the tree to put it back and seme shows up to help put it back. after that somehow uke is in love with seme........... and it's later revealed that seme fell upon first sight when uke talked to him back............. anyway, uke acts awkward around seme's crow form now and kinda reveals to seme he's in love with the bird......... seme is like oh crap and leaves cuz he's feeling awkward, not cuz he's against it. anyway uke kinda gets over this love and redirects his feelings to seme's human form, an 18 year old guy. uke is 23 btw. so uke likes human seme now and completely over bird seme. since seme knows uke's feelings, he just asks uke out and uke agrees ofc. they start dating and pretty quickly kiss and touch each other and go on a date to an aviary even though uke hates birds (kinda weird seme pushed him into it. but author needed some plot device to make uke reveal powers). there's a fire at the aviary and uke uses power to tell birds to come to safety. after that seme takes it into stride he can talk to birds and uke is like wut why you not surprised. and seme reveals he also has a secret. uke guesses he was that bird and seme confirms it's true. seme stays over and they touch but not all the way. story basically ends there, but we get to see a cute snap of a year later or so when seme has started uni. they're still basically the same and spending time together. seme always popular with the ladies. then we see an extra of their first time when seme received acceptance letter to uni. overall cute read!

super cute, love this author's stories always. childhood friends in highschool both have feelings for each other and just discovering them. seme has started to avoid uke for some reason making uke feel sad. uke thinks he's got a gf or interested in a girl. told seme he could give up 1 day in 5 for seme to spend with gf lol. but seme then said that's not it, he was avoiding cuz seme felt insecure about being shorter than uke. but they kiss and start relationship in the end cuz seme realized he was being unreasonable. then seme doesn't have sex for 1.5 years cuz he's still shorter lol. but in the end again seme comes around and has sex without growing taller. and then they're living together in uni and seme gets a little jealous of uke's female friend. uke gets confused too if seme likes the female friend. they talk it out and they're so cute again. i don't think seme ever grew taller than uke lol.

rich guy stays at uke's hotel. uke saves him from some drunks pestering him for his valuables. after that seme gets interested in uke and assigns him as his personal servant. seme visits hotel every weekend and they get to know each other. i guess pretty soon seme falls in love with having someone he can speak openly with. he asks uke out but uke is not sure for a while. eventually he sees how hardworking seme is running his family's business and agrees to date. after that there's some jealousy with a female friend of seme's and uke just feeling insecure cuz seme is away so much. uke jealous again and thought seme was drifting away cuz no sex. turns out seme just had a big work project and he was holding back. they have sex when seme returns.

just went by very quickly and nothing offensive but not very good...... seme randomly falls out of window trying to pick up pencil and uke catches him. but wtf he literally would have died if this really happened...... after that uke sees seme is very handsome and matches a character in the shoujo manga he's writing. so they go home to uke's place so uke can get some references or something of seme idk. few details about uke's shoujo manga drawing are given.... but seme just randomly starts kissing him, light kisses, saying it's so uke can experience the shoujo protagonist's feelings. uke is super oblivious and doesn't understand this is weird until he hears rumours that they're getting close and might be dating. just to help seme save face, uke says they should stop hanging out. ofc seme is like no and they continue. then uke talks with his publisher and she helps him realize he likes seme. uke confesses in a totally shoujo manga way lol on the rooftop openly confessing and bowing. seme ofc accepts and they start dating. on their first date, seme gets sick and uke goes to see him. seme tries to push him down and touch his ass and uke runs off. then they basically reconcile and have a makeup date and have sex for real.

seme asks out uke and wants to date just 2 weeks as a memory before he graduates. uke agrees. uke is shy reserved quiet type while seme was captain of baseball club and more outgoing. so they start dating but not really doing much. seme had promised to stop their deal if he did anything untoward lol. uke starts feeling flustered at his hand being held and stuff. then there's some soft drama with seme's ex-gf from junior high coming to their school. but nothing happens and she just wanted some closure after ending their relationship and moving away before. then seme thinks uke is not into their fake dating anymore and kisses uke, thereby ending their relationship cuz seme went beyond their agreement. uke is sad now about it ending and goes to confess to seme. they get together. extra chapter, seme has a sex dream but they haven't had sex yet i think.

WTF THIS IS SO TENDER AND SWEET AND ONE OF THE CUTEST BESTEST RELATIONSHIPS I'VE EVER SEEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! uke transfers into seme's class one day and seme is interested lol. notices uke frowning a lot and seeming unapproachable. one day he notices uke outside of school at a place where ppl are watching a rocket launch on tv outside a shop. then he helps uke speak up at school when second place gets jealous of uke getting first place on the tests. after that they get close cuz seme talks about space and rockets and uke is interested in this subject. seme trying real hard to keep uke's interest but it's ok cuz uke just likes him and was only glaring cuz shy and sun too bright lol. one day uke reveals he transferred to this school cuz he got sexually assaulted at last school, or almost, and had a fight and won. he did this to bring them closer cuz he realized seme was holding back from asking questions and uke just offered the answers without prompting. after this seme blurts out asking if it's okay for him to keep liking uke. then seme escapes lol. when uke catches him again, seme pretends he meant liking as friends and then uke escapes........but next day they talk it out. seme says he meant like with kissing and touching and uke says he gave it some thought and thinks he likes seme the same way. so they start dating and it's super cute, i love how straightforward uke is!!! they enter exam season to get into uni. seme wants to get into the same school as uke but seme needs to study hard. he fails the first time and is almost giving up like usual, like giving up on his dream of rockets in the past before the passion reignited after meeting uke. then uke is here again now to tell him not to give up and to study harder for the second exam. so seme does and they have a super sweet moment of reunion after seme studying 1 week for the test. seme passes this time and they have sex lol that was their plan for after receiving the results. then we see a little bit of them moving in together for uni and uke still talking so straightforwardly about how much he is into seme and stuff like this, I LOVE IT. i want to be uke lmao i want his personality, he's perfect to me, my fucking role model. but i also see myself in seme and how easily he gives up.....i fucking need an uke or i need seme's determination to finish my thesis. anyway, loved everything. a super good slow read.

4 stars cuz i can see quality, but honestly 3 stars for how much i enjoyed it. uke is suicidal cuz life so hard. but he is drawn to a storytelling place and sees seme telling a story. suddenly seme's head turns into a cat head and uke is shocked. he kinda runs off but seme follows after and tells him that he has to die for knowing the secret that cat creatures exist. or seme gives another option of them marrying and uke agrees. then they get closer together uke falling in love for real. seme says he fell in love with uke when seeing uke enjoy his stories. but seme hesitates to get closer because he is scared that uke will die and devastate him cuz human life is much shorter than supernatural cat's life. they also have a wedding ceremony kinda with the cats leaders and others. well uke runs off a bit after that cuz he tries to get close to seme but seme is still a little cold. then they have a dream together and seme realizes he just needs to cherish the now and stuff. so seme goes to find uke in his hotel and they go home together. then all is good i guess but uke says he has erectile dysfunction.......well in the extra they do it so whatever i guess cuz bottoms don't need dicks anyway

super cute story but the rationale was not as good as expected. some weird turns thrown in there for drama and not super well executed. uke is too pure and innocent and feels very much like typical cute shounen ai. uke frequent customer at seme's cafe. seme falls for him and thinks uke might like him too. one day he says to uke, i know why you're always coming. uke rushes to say it's cuz he has a crush on the waitress. seme then says he'll help uke get close to waitress. but they actually end up getting closer through texting and going on a practice date. then seme's close friend from high school suddenly confesses to seme. he kinda asks around the cafe for love advice and makes uke jealous. literally nothing happened with that friend. he rejects him and they stay normal friends like before.........just added a confession to create drama but zero consequences on this side. then seme sees uke is acting jealous and seme confesses all of a sudden. uke just accepts shyly and seme is surprised at what he did and uke's reaction. then uke says he actually did like the girl at first but slowly liked seme. did not like this explanation as much as if it had been uke lying about liking the waitress girl just to get close to seme cuz he was shy. but ofc uke is perfect innocent pure guy so he can't lie......... then extra chapter showing them all on a hot springs trip, with seme's friend and the girl.
