i like the misunderstanding angst in this one a lot. but tbh i feel like it wasn't a good conclusion for all that angst. like uke and seme have liked each other since high school. seme actually followed uke to university and then did military service same time as him. uke just liked seme and thought it was all a great coincidence. they actually kissed once when both were drunk during a school trip. uke thought it was a dream and seme was kinda mad uke acted so distant after it. now in uni they are still kinda friends. seme starts being aggressive about being close with uke. uke kinda likes it and takes what he can get to be with seme. for some reason they start a weird physical thing, but then seme backs off and they just date a lot. uke still thinks they might be friends with benefits. then uke agonizes over seme with another girl. but that's just his cousin. then seme agonizes over uke with a girl on a trip..... but that's just uke's sister.... and then all of a sudden seme is filled with rage and explodes at uke. uke is not sure what's going on but kinda gets that seme likes him. so he goes to confess and they get together. this solution to their misunderstandings didn't feel that satisfying tbh. i wanted a more hurtful misunderstanding and maybe a more drawn out conclusion. the pacing of the story is a bit fast at times lol. and then the rest of the story is them being together which is cute. but then seme is kinda overly possessive and controlling. and kinda rapey....

damn where the fuck do i even start with this story....... on one hand the art is fucking amazing, there's sex like every chapter and it's fucking amazingly drawn out sex with ahegao. but on the other hand the ukes are fucking annoying bitch ass typical traumatized and slow acting shits. i prefer the couple in the side stories more than the main couple. main couple story: uke and seme are neighbours. uke 24, seme 30. uke is a camboy cuz he got trapped into it by this scummy dude. and uke has stunted emotional development cuz child abuse and shit. typical. seme is famous author/photographer who likes to watch uke's videos. seme starts getting uke's packages and brings them over to uke....... which wtf he could have just left them in front of uke's door instead of banging the door every time...... and he realizes then that uke the neighbour is also the camboy he likes. so he starts pursuing uke....... uke apparently never had real sex and thinks sex toys are just as good. but then ofc can't resist and ends up having sex with seme. then they have a lot of sex and seme wants to go out but uke keeps saying no it's not for him. then uke starts having feelings back but thinks he's not yet suitable for seme cuz he's so messed up. like doing the camboy shit to pay off debt and w/e. he decides to work super hard and pay off the money but ofc that means neglecting seme. and i don't even get wtf that was at the end. he's so fucking dumb agreeing to do more videos to pay off the debt but why was the company even acting like they weren't going to let him go after even though nothing really came of that?? idk..... cuz in the end seme got his connections to take down the company ruining uke and the man that trapped uke in this debt shit. and they get together seriously. but by chapter 50 i think i was already tired of uke's oh woe is me i am so damaged i can't be with seme shit. second couple: this story is about main couple's seme's younger bro getting with the guy he likes. who also happens to be the guy seme1 liked in high school lol... younger bro seme is a hotshot lawyer. uke is in debt, fucking again....wtf is with these sad debt stricken ukes...... but this dude isn't as pathetic and actually working hard to pay it off after his brother got caught up in a cult and ruined the family finances. he's supporting 2 younger siblings. seme confesses after helping uke out of the debt, very quickly solving it honestly, that he's always wanted to sleep with uke and that's why he helped. he always liked uke since he was 3 and uke 6. now they're 28 and 31. uke is like okay let's sleep together and they do and uke fucking loves it. can't stop thinking about it now. gets lonely and hits up seme again. seme kinda traps uke by pretending he's going to sleep with uke just to get over uke. and uke wants to sleep with seme cuz loneliness. so i guess the agreement works out. but honestly seme never thought he could get over uke. their relationship is going well, having lots of sex and kinda dating. then seme gets jealous seeing uke with another guy that obviously likes uke. and he says he wants to cancel the agreement cuz he can't stand it and w/e. uke obviously knows that seme still likes him cuz he heard the story of how seme helped even when seme was 3. so he asks seme for another chance for seme to woo him or something????? like wtf another chance at what.....uke fucking doesn't say he wants to date seme, just keep their sex friendship going?? ugh starting to annoy me these wishy washy ukes. ok i did finish this story and i actually prefer the second couple. the more extras the author released, the more crack they were and just senseless sex.

seme is rich popular guy. uke is puppy-like extroverted guy. seme has some weird trauma that's not well explained. but it makes him date anyone easily but then also dump them the moment they confess and the relationship gets serious. still don't understand how his trauma made him do this and what sense this was supposed to make...... but basically uke falls in love with seme at first sight. asks seme out. seme easily agrees. but then when uke seriously confesses, seme dumps him right afterwards. then uke is not giving up, keeps pursuing seme. figures out seme's got some trauma but still likes uke. uke wears him down through stalking and pestering lol...... then they get together again and this time seme is more willing to be truthful about his feelings. admits to himself and uke that he likes uke. they have sex and it's seme's first time. it was cute. then we just see them together in uni and a bit of their future. seme turns out to be weirdly possessive like most korean semes are....

this author always has nice dialogue, but the art is too scratchy. i get the style, but it's like too basic.... anyway, story is about ceo of long standing ceramics company, 3rd gen in his family, and a tax auditor. they met when auditor, who works for government, came to audit and make the company pay back taxes. after that nothing happened until new years when seme sees uke standing alone at a shrine. somehow he knows uke got stood up and invites uke to come hang with seme's friends. uke agrees and then seme hits on uke and kisses him. turns out uke has some issue where he faints from romantic/sexual contact. but then seme is the only one who can kiss and touch him without uke fainting. so they keep doing it. uke actually has a kinda sad history and he says he slept with men cuz even if he faints, he can be a hole to fuck.... ofc seme was like no don't do that. and they have a cute dynamic. seme is very obviously pursuing uke at first. but uke loves him too. ceo plays himself off like a dummy, but he isn't actually. there's some drama with a dude at ceo's company stealing from the company that uke catches. seme gives him another job at a subsidiary instead of firing for some reason, i guess that's japanese custom.... and the dude messes with them by spreading rumours in a magazine, putting uke's job at risk. but after investigation they find no wrong doing, ofc, and everything's fine with uke's job and they stay together ofc. it's an okay story, but idk not into this uke so much. this type of troubled uke who gets pursued and is kinda tsundere.

this is a fucking masterpiece. like reading a jane austin romance, not that i've ever read one. this is fucking peak storytelling and art and i don't think anyone can get better.

kinda dumb cakeverse shit but the art's nice. uke is a cake, he turned seme into a fork years ago when seme drank from his can. seme's been looking for him ever since. seme makes a deal with him to help his family's ailing company in exchange for uke to have sex with seme....
