yo this is surprisingly good. beginning was a bit rough but it was not scary or overwhelmingly stressful and frustrating at any point. now on chap 5 of the side stories. omega uke is damaged after being forced to abort a child by the partner he loved. he's traumatized and his pheromones don't work anymore. but somehow seme is able to smell him and uke is intrigued and makes seme into his sex toy by buying him and cancelling is debts. then it's a big drama about them falling for each other and then dealing with uke's ex who apparently still loves uke but sure doesn't show it properly. and he fucking rapes uke at one point ugh. but in the end ofc seme and uke end up together and they are pregnant with child. in the extras we see their son, an alpha. and it's revealed what has been hinted at all along, that seme and uke's ex are half-brothers through their father. seme grew up poor with his prostitute omega father cuz he was an illegitimate child. now maybe in side stories seme will become heir to the family corporation cuz his half-bro is disgraced after the drama of attempting to kill seme and drugging him and shit.

childhood friends. white rich seme moves away at 5 but comes back at 18. uke still living in same house and now he's a degenerate prostitute. wtf is this story. just seme crying and wanting uke and uke being a shit.

president woos this worker and worker also likes the pres, but when they get together in bed, pres is the bottom. kind of cute role reversal. pres keeps trying to be top, but then accepts he will always be bottom lol. and turns out seme is the son of a rival company that went under? but seme genuinely wants to work for uke now, not for his father who was abusive towards him.

this is so fucking sweet. i can kinda understand why it's so popular, but i still think most of the popularity is from the memes and the sex. the story is honestly quite basic and kinda shallow. 12 year age gap. starts off with uke being 24 i think? seme randomly just falls in love with uke, who is working the night shift at a convenience store and living next door to seme. never explained why seme moved in next to uke and rented out all the 3 other units in the building aside from uke's unit.... they kinda become sex friends, but seme is always frank and clear that he likes uke. i think this is quite rare and refreshing to see, so that definitely contributes to seme's popularity. and uke is just a cute puppy who doesn't let shit get him down or wallow in his own sorrows. anyway, things are going really well between them. i like both characters a lot. but then shit goes down with seme's gang business shit. not explained at all lol. and then uke hears over the phone seme beating someone up. uke is shocked. seme comes trying to explain himself but ofc uke pushes him away. honestly uke is a really good balance of soft and strong. after that shit goes down with seme's gang business and he has to lie low so he is no contact with uke for 3-4 years. he comes back suddenly and tries really hard to casually keep meeting uke. ofc uke is worn down despite trying to say he doesn't want to meet seme anymore. so they have sex and then get back together and uke admits he has always liked seme. seme ofc feels the same and they are super sweet together. despite the simple story where nothing about seme's gang business is explained and basically nothing happens in the story outside of what affects our MCs, the focus on the relationship is done super well and worth it. seme is respectful but still coming on strong to uke to get what he wants. uke is soft hearted, but knows where to draw a line when things aren't right and can handle shit for himself. they are two independent individuals who match each other so well. it just feels like they genuinely love each other for who the other person is. their romance is basic, nothing extravagant happening to woo each other, just sex, but their feelings are so deep and well expressed. can't say enough about it lol they are just the cutest together. mature but sweet.

art suuucks. literally had to force myself to read it to completion. uke is so fucking annoying, but seme is also dumb and boring. also confusing like is seme adopted or his mom's real kid, i still have no fucking clue. basically they've been online friends for 5 years. then first day of uni, seme discovers uke is his online friend, but he also hears uke confessing that he has a crush on seme's online persona. seme is not happy and is determined to make uke confess so then he can reject uke online, but become friends with uke IRL so he can still have uke as a friend. complicated dumb shit. things going well i guess, where uke is confused about dating seme but liking the online seme. then he starts putting the clues together and figuring it out. hate how fucking insecure these shy dull ukes are. but this seme only has like 2 expressions, blank and fake smile. so fucking bad this art.

homeless uke starts living in rich seme's house while seme is away. seme comes back and hears uke in the attic and goes to get him out. kinda forces uke to have sex and they have a bunch of sex and some affection develops. seme proposes to feed and house uke for life if uke will promise not to run away and uke kinda likes it.

main story about fancy hotel concierge and rich french artist who often stays. second story about the president of that hotel and the head concierge who used to have a sexual relationship in america. seme the concierge got transferred to japan to help set up the hotel here and hasn't come back for 3 years. uke the president comes to ask him to return. seme waiting for uke to admit he wants seme as more than a concierge, but as a man. third story is age gap. a yakuza young master and the second in command at the gang. but now they are trying to turn into a legit business. seme doesn't want the young master to see him being strict at work cuz he thinks it'll scare uke, but uke is totally fine. this one was just shounen-ai i think.

first story about cousins. both in uni. one is a model and one is a normal guy. somehow they love each other and fall into a relationship but i kinda skimmed cuz it was boring and weird. the art is so different for the first chapter, i feel like the author made that one last specifically for this volume. there is a oneshot about two presidents of companies. one born into wealth and one new money. inconclusive ending and meh about wtf is going on.

i like this uke, he's not an idiot, can stand up for himself, and feels evil feelings like wanting revenge. also the couple is kinda nice that they always communicate and make a wonderful team. none of that misunderstanding nonsense between them. when uke is in trouble he always relies on seme or he can handle it himself. not stupid shit happens. also we don't get any sad penultimate episode dumbshit drama. basically it's uke an actor who is abused by his agency. he and seme knew each other in high school but this part is not talked about much. seme has a little grudge against uke cuz of a misunderstanding and uke didn't show up at a meeting and they never met again. this is never resolved..... now seme is owner of a talent agency. uke has a scandal but then seme can't leave him alone and ends up signing uke to his agency. they have a slow romance, but very suddenly seme reciprocates after being professional so long. it is kinda out of nowhere. like uke confessed early on, but seme had no reaction at all until suddenly they're kissing..... they deal with drama from a stalker and from uke's abusive past agency. in the end it's all resolved and they get revenge on those people.

this story is sooo dumb. uke is a fucking dumbass who never follows seme's instructions to stay safe and listen. and he can't communicate shit, which just leads to misunderstandings forever cuz he thinks he an handle shit but he really can't..... basically seme and uke were kinda friends in middle school. both poor and only with a mom. but then uke caught eye of a bully, whose family is involved with the mob. in order to protect seme, uke distances himself from seme cuz the bully is hurting everyone who gets close to uke. seme feels betrayed and vows to take revenge on uke. he teams up with his half-sister who says she'll help him if he helps her with family succession drama. so like 13 years later, now they're adults and uke is still poor and in debt to the bully. he gets advised to take a job to do a sham marriage. he agrees cuz it'll be a big sum of money. he marries seme's sister. then seme comes into the picture and threatens to tell his sister that uke cheated if uke doesn't do what seme wants. seme forces uke to have sex. uke doesn't want his wife to know cuz it's in their contract that if he does anything to disgrace the family, he will have to pay a big penalty. anyway, seme and uke having a lot of sex and their relationship kinda improving. it's never really made clear their feelings for each other and when they officially start dating. just here and there they randomly say they like each other. anyway, big drama at the end with seme's cousin trying to kill seme to remove him from succession. but he ends up killing his own father..... and then the bully is there trying to get away and he kidnaps uke and rapes uke....... honestly here uke is a fucking dumbass. he thinks he's saving seme by doing this but seme just told him to fucking lie low. and he lets the bully fuck him and shit ughhghghghggggh anyway, seme saves him from the bully, the police get involved and arrest the bully's men as well. shit is resolved i guess and story ends.... no real defining of the relationship. also in the middle uke got divorced..... like he was not even married a year....
