set in 1950s japan, one guy is a tengu/unidentified supernatural creature who does not age and the other guy is a reborn human. they used to know each other in their past lives. the now human used to be a monk and the now tengu used to be a child studying under him. now they meet again and sort through their feelings for each other. really beautiful storytelling all the way through. the tengu has always been watching the other guy, ever since he was born. saved him when he was 16 and leaving his mountain village to go start a new life in town. guy ended up just staying with the tengu while working a little in the town. some drama happens and stuff that makes the human dream of his past life together with the tengu. then there's some kind of notice that the place they live in is going to be developed so they move away deeper into the woods, forever away from the town. but they had some conflict about the tengu wanting the guy to live a normal life and the guy being like no i want to be with you i don't care about trying to be normal. and feeling bad that they will one day separate cuz the human will die while the tengu lives forever. such a good story even though i'm not into the supernatural stuff much.

boring shit. guy with supernatural seeing powers picks up a demon dog. demon fucks him for energy, in exchange he gets some life stories for his writing. somehow they fall in love through the fucking. some woman who stole the demon's energy before is in the guy's body. another being attacks him and he's saved by the woman's soul inside his body?? idk and then the woman tells him the demon's real name so he can give the demon powers back. when he wakes up, he says the name, demon is fine, and they still stay together. bullshit at every turn. so many badly clobbered together ideas and things that are just clobbered in to advance the plot but never talked about again. like his writing job, his dead mother, the weird kid at his house, how they even fell in love?!

uke is guard and seme is prince. uke sleeps with prince and says it's so prince doesn't go our playing around, but in reality uke likes seme. seme likes him back but i guess neither make it clear. when prince goes to be emperor, he takes a wife and uke leaves cuz he thought the arrangement was just until seme became emperor. he doesn't know his brother made deal with emperor to give emperor uke if seme would be a puppet emperor. anyway, 3 years later uke living out in mountains somewhere and has sex with other guy. other guy tells uke emperor gonna execute his brother so uke comes back to the castle. turns out rumour was spread by emperor to get uke back. then uke has sex with emperor to find out his brother's whereabouts or something like this. and emperor explains the whole puppet situation and deal with brother and uke agrees to come back permanently and work as guard captain. cute ending but unsure where bro is. he is real emperor i guess cuz he had child with the figure empress who used to be his fiance. guess he put her in power and he's the real man in power.

it was fine but kinda boring and not into the random history of the master uke nor his personality. so seme starts working as driver for uke who is the manager of some pharmaceutical thing in pre-ww2 japan. at first seme is totally bad cuz he's from tokyo and not used to osaka stuff, but uke helps him out and doesn't fire him. anyway uke is very nice so seme starts developing feelings and writing it all down in a notebook uke gave him. one day uke reads the journal and finds out seme's feelings, but seme seems cool with it. then for some reason it gets revealed that seme has realized uke is gay and used to like a guy he grew up. also uke confesses he was almost raped by the man who brought him up after he was orphaned...just touching but stopped. and idk like seme takes uke on a trip to see the guy he used to like to get closure or something. but then they realize it's the wrong guy and don't know where that guy really is. well uke finds closure in that anyway i guess cuz he changes supposedly. and after that he goes to the guy who brought him up and says he is leaving the house and won't work in this manager position anymore. he's going to tokyo to start on his own, doing similar stuff. takes the seme with him as a servant as an excuse. but at this point i guess uke already likes seme back and we see them fucking in the car right after they leave the old master's house i think. basically they fuck right after uke shows interest back. lastly we see them now living in tokyo and having sex again talking about their new life there. pretty boring but i commend the story and art so 4 stars. on how much i liked it, i would only give 3.

great art and characters. love the story and wish there had been more!! lots of parts could have used more detail but great regardless. half-dragon seme mistakes uke as the kid who played with him when young. uke is actually commander of the nights and the emperor's adopted son. uke starts getting kind of close to seme to get on his good side and eventually bring him back to the capital cuz he's a dragon. seme wants uke to remember their time together when young and seme fucks uke cuz apparently that's a way to retrieve memories lol...... uke goes along with it so easily too..... and they fuck multiple times to retrieve memories and uke starts wanting to just fuck. at this point uke pretty sure he is not the kid seme remembers. but seme reassures that even if uke never gets the memories back, seme will still want to be with uke. but after that uke's adopted brother and the emperor come to kill the dragon and get uke back. uke tries to plead with them but there is a fight. eventually all solved half-peacefully and uke goes off to live with the dragon somewhere far. but he still maintains a good relationship with his adopted family! honestly very lovely story.

cute story for a pwp. young boy admires a painter but family is poor and being sold off to do sex work. but his pimp is nice and brings him around to the painter he likes. or maybe this boy liked painter after meeting. anyway, painter starts reacting to boy too while painting his erotic pics. eventually they fuck and painter lets boy stay as apprentice instead of letting him be sex worker. cute and erotic.

almost made me teary eyed. nice story and progression. but i think these translations were not so great.

uke gets drugged by duke who is obsessed with him but spends the night with seme, the crown prince. uke doesn't remember anything upon waking, but finds out 4 months later that he is pregnant. apparently royal family men can impregnate both men and women. overall great story, i actually skimmed it again now that official translations are out. i will say the ending feels a bit rushed, with them suddenly marrying and having the kid and uke finding out the truth in the last chapter........ anyway, after uke finds out he's pregnant, he goes to talk to seme about catching a serial killer cuz they're both knights. seme has been ignoring him, so uke goes to a ball to catch seme. seme agrees to help in return for kissing and sex and w/e. he says uke resembles someone precious who escaped him. lol uke resembles uke. so this goes on and they are investigating. uke falls in love with seme through their time spent together. they find out the killer is the duke that likes uke. duke killed first person in rage when uke stood him up that night after the ball. after that he's been covering his tracks by hiring more ppl to kill in a similar manner. uke also gets kidnapped and is nearly killed but seme comes to the rescue. after that seme makes uke rest and he plans their wedding in secret lol..... uke finds out after he leaves rest and is happy to marry actually...... but he still doesn't know the child is seme's. seme isn't telling uke cuz he thinks uke hates him and will abort the child if he finds out it's seme's........ honestly this misunderstanding part is so weird. they were acting all lovey dovey with each other but neither apparently thinks the other likes them.............. well all comes out when child comes and looks exactly like seme. and a woman tells uke that if he hadn't shown up that night of the ball, it would be her with child right now........ so now uke knows the kid is seme's. he goes to confront seme why he never said anything. and seme says he thought uke didn't like him, will abort his child, but uke is like no i love you want to stay together forever. end. we get an extra that's so dumb. uke gets drugged again and seme to the rescue and they fuck. uke says he loves seme a lot while drugged and seme is happy, but then uke not so affectionate while sober...... wtf this extra was not sweet at all. i don't understand why uke won't just say his feelings honestly cuz that tsundere shit ain't even his personality.

isekai story in a bl. originally written by chinese author and korean artist. but the eng trans is so shitty even though it's official lol. emperor seme and priest uke. emperor is part of some superior race and doesn't understand humans. he loves uke and treats him like he thinks his jin race would want to be treated. but uke thinks seme just hates him and is abusing him. honestly at the end i still have no idea wtf happened near the end of their lives in the past life. basically emperor has some plan to go into fake coma. uke thinks it's real and exchanges his life for emperor to wake up. seme thinks uke died and prays for him to come back. uke serves a goddess as a priest and she lets him be reborn again to when he's 10 years old. in new life he meets seme again as a kid. seme 3 years older. he heals seme and takes him home. seme starts coming around and learning from him and stuff. so in this life seme understands human emotions a lot more. but when uke realizes it's seme and not some random kid, uke is super fucking dramatic and stabs himself instead of going with seme to the palace. but later an attendant does convince uke to go to palace in exchange for some other stuff. uke agrees to try to bear emperor's child. anyway so through his month or so staying there, honestly timeline is weird, he falls in love with emperor. he comes around to realize this emperor is completely different from the past and realizes that even past emperor loved him in his own way. then they have a child together. typical chinese story with the seme is all over the fucking uke and possessive as fuck. and seme is like in competition with their child for uke's affection.
