just a meh story. not much romance. uke is talent agency scout, he has his own company but it's not doing well. he discovers seme who is working part time at the convenience store downstairs from is office. they do modelling stuff together and seme starts to become successful. kinda crazy age gap that's not addressed lol. seme is only 17 while uke is 26l

some "sensitive" dude who is basically picky about fine details and shy. and a more brute carefree kinda guy. sensitive uke is hairdresser, seme is a knife/scissor sharpener. they met cuz uke asked seme to sharpen his work scissors. then they were writing letters back and forth along with the scissors being sent back and forth. then uke went in person cuz he thought seme is a woman. was kinda scared off by seme's demeanour, but seme called him to sharpen scissors again and uke was too fucking weak to even say no. then they get kinda close and seme confesses. uke leaves without an answer but then does realize he likes seme back. i think they kiss but that's it.

they are cousins with like 14 year age gap, but it just keeps saying more than 12 lol. idk cuz it says seme is 33/34, but uke just started uni so he should be 18. basically they both liked each other since uke was a kid.... kinda wrong but i appreciate this story for exploring those taboo themes. now uke is in uni and has come to live with seme in tokyo for school. he confesses but seme pushes him away. then turns out seme wrote his debut book based on his feelings for uke and it won many awards. uke reads it and says he's not scared of seme and his feelings, he feels the same way still. they get together finally. now i'm seeing this story is from one of my fav authors. so ofc the story is really compelling and well thought out.

just sex. thin plot. hot yakuza seme. story about them being neighbours and getting close due to uke's cooking. seme is rich yakuza heir who has run away from the group for whatever reason. they are fucking and in love and now the group's in trouble so seme has to go back. but it's okay cuz seme still comes back for uke. then they get together for real and seme buys a luxury penthouse condo for them to move to lol.

i like this uke, he's not an idiot, can stand up for himself, and feels evil feelings like wanting revenge. also the couple is kinda nice that they always communicate and make a wonderful team. none of that misunderstanding nonsense between them. when uke is in trouble he always relies on seme or he can handle it himself. not stupid shit happens. also we don't get any sad penultimate episode dumbshit drama. basically it's uke an actor who is abused by his agency. he and seme knew each other in high school but this part is not talked about much. seme has a little grudge against uke cuz of a misunderstanding and uke didn't show up at a meeting and they never met again. this is never resolved..... now seme is owner of a talent agency. uke has a scandal but then seme can't leave him alone and ends up signing uke to his agency. they have a slow romance, but very suddenly seme reciprocates after being professional so long. it is kinda out of nowhere. like uke confessed early on, but seme had no reaction at all until suddenly they're kissing..... they deal with drama from a stalker and from uke's abusive past agency. in the end it's all resolved and they get revenge on those people.

this is a great shounen-ai, but tbh some of the dialogue is so vague and implied in that japanese way that i have no idea wtf they're talking about lmao. basically two guys at work, younger seme (28) and older uke (34). uke starts working at new company and seme is his mentor. apparently seme was on guard with him at first cuz it's awkward to have an older kouhai and seme maybe was worried about uke taking over his job? idk but uke honestly was not interested in any of that and just wanted to work peacefully. cuz he had a bad experience with his previous company and some dude claiming he was sexually harassed by uke. uke has some trauma being yelled at. anyway they get along a bit better after seme overhears uke talking positively about seme. then seme starts this thing where they compliment each other to get closer. seme loves being complimented but uke is kinda w/e about it. seme notices this and is kinda upset about not getting a good reaction from uke. idk i'm kinda confused why they talk about it and how they get closer through this. but somehow seme realizes he likes uke. and seme confesses and uke realizes the same. so he accepts seme's confession after a bit. they get together very seriously and officially lol and we never see them have sex though it's implied.

this story is sooo dumb. uke is a fucking dumbass who never follows seme's instructions to stay safe and listen. and he can't communicate shit, which just leads to misunderstandings forever cuz he thinks he an handle shit but he really can't..... basically seme and uke were kinda friends in middle school. both poor and only with a mom. but then uke caught eye of a bully, whose family is involved with the mob. in order to protect seme, uke distances himself from seme cuz the bully is hurting everyone who gets close to uke. seme feels betrayed and vows to take revenge on uke. he teams up with his half-sister who says she'll help him if he helps her with family succession drama. so like 13 years later, now they're adults and uke is still poor and in debt to the bully. he gets advised to take a job to do a sham marriage. he agrees cuz it'll be a big sum of money. he marries seme's sister. then seme comes into the picture and threatens to tell his sister that uke cheated if uke doesn't do what seme wants. seme forces uke to have sex. uke doesn't want his wife to know cuz it's in their contract that if he does anything to disgrace the family, he will have to pay a big penalty. anyway, seme and uke having a lot of sex and their relationship kinda improving. it's never really made clear their feelings for each other and when they officially start dating. just here and there they randomly say they like each other. anyway, big drama at the end with seme's cousin trying to kill seme to remove him from succession. but he ends up killing his own father..... and then the bully is there trying to get away and he kidnaps uke and rapes uke....... honestly here uke is a fucking dumbass. he thinks he's saving seme by doing this but seme just told him to fucking lie low. and he lets the bully fuck him and shit ughhghghghggggh anyway, seme saves him from the bully, the police get involved and arrest the bully's men as well. shit is resolved i guess and story ends.... no real defining of the relationship. also in the middle uke got divorced..... like he was not even married a year....

story had promise but poor execution. just senseless stuff leading to them living together and then somehow straight divorced uke likes seme back. then they easily just kiss and fuck and get together...

so messed up. they're dating but uke is not happy about how seme prioritizes his sister and won't tell her about their relationship. so he kinda pushes seme away and then gets with the sister who falls in love with him. he tells her he likes her bro, seme but she doesn't really believe him i guess idk. she is delusional and thinks she can change him.... then they divorce cuz ofc she can't change him. and uke goes to be with seme again. they fuck and he sends photos to sis showing seme naked and asleep. sis finally gets what's going on and says she's cutting off seme. seme is sad and goes to talk to sis. she's like homophobic but it's kinda her fault..... anyway in the end uke gets what he wants which is seme all to himself, no more sis in the picture.
