uke and seme neighbours and friends since birth. seme manifests as alpha early on and is scared of omegas, hates them for some reason. uke hadn't manifested anything and assumed to be beta. but seme draws away from uke cuz seme likes uke and doesn't want to hurt uke. uke doesn't know and is just hurt. until like 5 years later or something he finds seme in rut in the school bathroom and takes care of him? and then they're friends again until last year of high school when uke manifests as omega. uke runs away cuz he doesn't want seme to hate him for being an omega. they don't meet for 5 years. now in uni they meet at start of year welcome party restaurant despite being in different departments. seme eager to start their friendship again cuz he's always liked uke. uke acting cagey cuz he still pretends to be a beta. another alpha likes uke and seme is jealous. being around 2 alphas, uke's heat comes. seme finds him in heat and takes him home and they do it. seme regrets it afterwards cuz he thinks he raped uke. but he did confess and uke was happy to do it. afterwards uke goes to confess to seme and he's so happy seme likes him. but seme does that dumb internal conflict shit. like saying he thinks uke's just swayed by pheromones and doesn't actually like him. so he rejects uke and says leave him alone for a month and he'll get over uke....... wtf but that doesn't happen and uke calls seme kinda drunk one night missing him and they make up really quicky...... they start dating for real and it's basically story done. we see them do a school festival together and things are going great with them. uke asks seme to move in and seme says yes and seme gives him a couple ring. fast forward another 5 years and they're both working and living together. they spend seme's rut together and uke gets pregnant. then uke proposes to seme for marriage and seme ofc is happy crying and he takes out the rings he prepared but didn't have the chance to ask first. it's alright, but so many stereotypical korean relationship tropes. like the seme being kinda a puppy but possessive. uke hurting during sex but the one more in charge of the relationship, kinda cold sometimes. and them touchy feeling and showing off the relationship to everyone. ugh so many uni manhwas do the same shits when the couple get together.

vol 3 of this couple. uke's house is damaged and he moves in with seme for a couple months. they're super happy together. but uke starts getting close to a coworker who's gay and crushing on his straight bff. uke thinks that's the same situation seme was in before, so feels sympathy. but he doesn't tell seme about it cuz he doesn't want to out the coworker, and it makes seme a bit jealous. but he knows that uke's not cheating on him. anyway, they resolve that and uke moves back home. he feels a bit lonely without seme around now, but then seme gives him a ring to symbolize they'll be together forever even if not physically together for now.

not as good as i remember it being. seme is kind of brash and off the charts wild.... i do like that he has a possessive streak. main confusing shit is the author keeps referencing her other manga i think?? so some parts are confusing and the timeline is weird sometimes cuz the chapters will jump back and forth and feel like a full chapter but it's just an extra from their past.... dumb miscommunication shit is the source of all problems in vol 1-3. where they are both thinking they're bad for each other and seme fucking breaks up with uke, supposedly for uke's own good.... then vol 4 has seme off to america to audition and uke visits him and they fake marriage at frank lloyd wright's glass chapel lol.

uke has sad life but everything wraps up very satisfyingly. the plot moves kinda fast, like no twists and turns, just straight to the solution for each issue lol but it's at least not frustrating. they were childhood friends for a bit but then seme's father caused uke's parents to be in a car accident and uke's mom died and dad has brain issues forever. now they are reunited but uke doesn't remember seme. uke just made to fuck seme and then they find out they're bonded and have to live together for pheromones?? honestly not well explained how this all happens. but they're living together now and uke no longer has to sell his body for his cousin. then the rest of the story is seme getting revenge on his own father, who caused uke's parents' misfortune. then getting revenge on uke's cousin and uncle who kept using uke and contributed to uke's parents' death/disability. all resolved quickly and some things not well explained, but i really like their dynamic. they stand by each other no matter what. none of that crybaby uke shit not wanting seme to do bad things. uke supports it. and seme is so gentle and kind to uke.

yo this is surprisingly good. beginning was a bit rough but it was not scary or overwhelmingly stressful and frustrating at any point. now on chap 5 of the side stories. omega uke is damaged after being forced to abort a child by the partner he loved. he's traumatized and his pheromones don't work anymore. but somehow seme is able to smell him and uke is intrigued and makes seme into his sex toy by buying him and cancelling is debts. then it's a big drama about them falling for each other and then dealing with uke's ex who apparently still loves uke but sure doesn't show it properly. and he fucking rapes uke at one point ugh. but in the end ofc seme and uke end up together and they are pregnant with child. in the extras we see their son, an alpha. and it's revealed what has been hinted at all along, that seme and uke's ex are half-brothers through their father. seme grew up poor with his prostitute omega father cuz he was an illegitimate child. now maybe in side stories seme will become heir to the family corporation cuz his half-bro is disgraced after the drama of attempting to kill seme and drugging him and shit.

fuck i was misled and thought it was complete but it's fucking not. now 3 more months until the next chapter releases..................... seme likes uke and proposes fake marriage to get other people off their backs cuz they're both popular. uke agrees and they start living together. seme starts cooking for them both cuz uke always eats instant foods. they were sleeping together while uke's bed's not here, but seme keeps getting aroused and sleeps on the couch instead. one day he's giving uke a massage and then uke gets hard and seme jerks him off and uke is totally cool about it???????? it's just like never talked about again. then uke walks in on seme jerking on the couch and seme kinda tells him to jerk off as well so it's fair???????? and uke fucking does. this uke is like dumb and oblivious which is cute in some ways, but just doesn't make any sense in other ways. then on uke's 39th bday he gets drunk and tells seme about how he suspects seme's gay and that means uke would want to end their arrangement but uke is currently really unsure about it. seme confesses to uke and then uke says some misleading things causing seme to kiss him and then kinda have sex with him. this part is so gross to me like why would seme take advantage of drunk uke..........next morning uke even says he can't remember what happened in the second half of the night......... well uke goes back home to think things over and realizes he sees seme as family now and want to go back to seme. seme readily accepts uke back and wants to test if uke really likes him or just anyone?? so he blindfolds uke and touches him and uke realizes he only likes seme, can't do it if imagining other people. all this time was just the engagement period and at the end of 6 months is when they will decide to marry or not. seme got a registration paper and gave it to uke for him to decide to sign it officially or not. ok now i've read the second volume. here uke comes to terms with his feelings for seme. and rereading the first volume, idk why i only gave it 3 stars before lol. their first time jerking off kinda makes sense now. uke is like a naive dummy who didn't know it was weird to jerk off. so he just kept going with the flow for everything. it's kind of cute. overall i think it's a cute fluffy story. seme is a bit too one dimensional though.

lots to say about this story, but a bit tired to say it all. very slow and realistic start. honestly the whole thing felt very realistic, but verging towards a bad way in season 2. seme turned into even more of a raging abusive asshole than he was at the start.... like first it's some enemies to lovers. i don't really understand why uke got so mad about the shit seme said, but this is like the only realistic anger i've seen in a story. very realistic way of talking and cursing at each other. good pacing throughout. but then after they get together, seme is some insecure clingy bitch. he goes off the study abroad, but then gets jealous at every little thing uke does. always thinks uke might have someone else. so fucking paranoid and comes back to korea out of nowhere just to try to catch uke in the act. but uke's not even cheating.... then he fucking tries to rape uke but thank god uke punches him so he backs down. but then uke is the one to apologize first...... and seme does apologize, but his behaviour does not really change much. i mean this is realistic... uke ain't my fav either and i think he can take seme. he's always been kinda a pushover, so maybe this is him being a pushover for seme. he thinks it's all cute when it's fucking scary. like why are they normalizing seme being this way... no commentary on how abusive it is..... and when they fuck seme is kinda raping uke, saying shit like i know what you like even though you're saying no. like wtf why did seme go down this route...... he didn't even seem like a bad guy in the beginning. kinda an asshole but then who isn't in uni... so idk. on one hand very realistic flawed characters. great pacing, slow and they only get together after knowing each other like a year. we see them in the future years out and through the 2.5 years that seme is studying abroad. i just can't really get over seme's rotton personality. i mean that's always been his thing... but it's literally gotten worse as time progresses so idk how to feel about it... another thing that annoys me is how much this author prizes good looks. she keeps harping on about how handsome they are and makes every character admire the main leads' looks. but i love their friend group in uni. so realistic. really great complement to the story of the main couple. argh i'm so conflicted about this. hoping for side stories.
