dropping this. can we all just agree that "ML/FL raises the FL/ML" is a bad look for stories and authors should just cut it out? no matter how you slice it, it's just weird and realistically, if someone develops feelings for a kid they RAISED, something ain't right. I was hoping for a father-daughter relationship.

I've read that the ML is Xavi who is basically a child? Is he supposed to grow up or something? She treats him like he's four years old and like he's a little dress up doll. You know how mothers constantly put their toddlers into different cute outfits and dote on them and get down on their knees to talk to them at their level when they're sad and shit? Yeah, that's how she treats the ML. Imagine being a mother to your man before being his girlfriend? So that's weird as hell and also the worst match up. The story is also quite boring. Obviously she reincarnates into a novel and then she breaks her engagement with the prince who was already cheating on her with the original FL, and surprise! the original FL is a total bitch and constantly tries to rile up the main character but her attempts are foiled each time so far. Overall, it isn't good. This would probably be a good read if you don't care about good plots and characters and you just want to be entertained or you just need something to read to pass the time.

this shit is ass. only good redeeming quality abt this manhwa is the art.

dropped. this just like literally every other adult manhwa out there, the story is trash. mc is just like the others. the art is the only defining quality. the protagonist is just cringe. I find myself repeating this every time to the point where I find it tiresome to go in depth. he's dogshit and everybody else is too. literally the perfect description that fits every mc in these types of stories, only thinking with their dicks.

honestly this manhwa makes me cringe. the ml was literally a child when the fl took care of him, and now he's suddenly "the love interest" of the fl. this kind of troupe is just fucking weird.

Decided to drop it on ch 335. The manhua is good but very long and the plotline is prolonged more than it might need to be. I really like the characters and the animated series though. Probably going to pick this up again in the future. If you're here for heavy plot and character development, look elsewhere. It doesn't need the criteria of typical plot/character-focus anime to work. There's not a lot of action, and the action that does occur is mostly for laughs. This is more slice of life in a historical/martial arts setting featuring the daily shenanigans of a senior disciple who just wants to live peacefully as an NPC. MC is a master troll who has the classic unwilling Iseki traits and misfortune.

The plot armour is too strong. MC is mentally weak and can't kill even a bug without activating plot armour. This is a pretty forgettable story. Don't bother reading it. The art is pretty inconsistent, some panels are done MUCH better, then some are just thrown together quick.
