I first read this I think four years ago in 2020. I reread it now, having forgot everything about it.
It’s a story about two women falling in love. What a surprise, it’s GL. One woman thought her entire life she was straight, she followed societies standards and rules but never really asking herself what she wants in life. The other woman is a lesbian, who’s been rejected by society and abandoned by almost everyone she loved, so she built up a barrier around her heart, promising herself to never fall in love again.
The women meet in an unconventional way and due to unfortunate circumstances make a contract that lets the lesbian stay at the supposedly straight woman’s apartment. The story goes on. Things happen. A contract is being made and (who guessed it) they fell in love. The lesbian who swore to never fall in love again and the “straight” woman fell in love.
They helped each other through their difficulties, their insecurities and problems.
