Banana Fish
This is the kind of story that will hurt over and over again no matter how many times you reread it. Beautifully written yet equally heartbreaking. Ash chose to live his last moments with the comfort of Eiji's letter, knowing that despite all the hardships in life he faced, the mere chance that he got to experience some sort of sanctuary through Eiji was enough. The bond these two shared will only come once in a lifetime. Such a bittersweet end.
Heart Stain
I thought this was supposed to be lighthearted romance (ಥ﹏ಥ) Seeing Doha sign himself up for the heartbreak just pinched my heart. Although some may blame Woohyun for being indecisive, it was just normal that he can't easily cut off his feelings for the teacher. I'm glad he that he was able to see and return Doha's affection in the end. ♡(。- ω -) It was a tearjerker for sure but overall it was a good story
Pearl Boy
I really think Jooha regained his memories and that last panel is an indication that he told that to Dooshik after they resurfaced from the lake, though i'm not sure if it is him or Dooshik said it. I still think they are alive. Moreover, some might argue that Dooshik is a red flag but for me his love and devotion to Jooha outweighs it all. He just loves him sm that he's willing to become the bad person for the person he loves.
At the End of the Road
This was not an easy read. It makes you feel all emotions at once but mostly anger lol. Siwon's twin brother was nothing but a piece of sht. Even with his backstory there was nothing redeemable about him. Even when Taemin (in Siwon's body) woke up, he was still an asshole. He's a piece of trash through and through. I was really sad when the real Siwon died he was an angel RIP. Our MC Taemin was such a badass and I like his view on never letting others take control of him. Woojin's love and devotion to him was truly amazing. I love them together What I wasn't satisfied with was just how the perpetrators, especially the twin bro was not punished. They need to rot in jail tsk. Overall, it was a whole rollercoaster
Lucky Paradise
This story is such a rollercoaster of emotions. The relationship of Ho-in, Chunwoo and Taesoo is very toxic in the beginning. Saying it was frustrating is an understatement tbh. I'm just glad Chunwoo was able to break free from the shackles of his feelings for Taesoo. Ho-in is too much forgiving that he doesn't care what happens to him as long as Chunwoo is his in the end. Honestly he's too good for this world. I'm just glad Chunwoo was able to slowly love him back. When he finally told ILY back to Ho-in it was just very beautiful. Also, hooray to our precious Woojin and Jiwoo they were truly the mvp in this story I love them both so much. Overall, it was quite exhausting to read but it was worth it in the end.
Haunted by Desire
This is truly a beautiful masterpiece. I went through a lot of emotions reading this. The story is so beautiful and well written. All three couples went through so much in their past lives and I was glad that they were able to love again in another life. My favorite couple might be Beom and Sooyeon. Although Dohui and Seongjae is still a beautiful couple. But I was the most devastated with the King and the Messenger's story. I cried so much while reading the side stories. I was able to get the gist of what happened in the end of their story and although it was bittersweet, they were able to be reunited in one way or another. Overall, it was very worth it to read this. A definite must-read and easily one of my top faves!!
Unscented Trajectory
I like this story. Yes although this is another red flag alpha story, I actually like the progression of the plot. Joohyuk may have forgotten Soohyun in the present but the fact that he's still devoted to the Soohyun of the past, truly moved me. Although it doesn't excuse all the shit he put Soohyun through in the one year of their contract, i'm glad they were able to clear up their misunderstandings and work out their interrupted shared past. ️
Legs That Won't Walk
This was a painful journey to read. Considering the tags, it's not for the lighthearted and tbh my anger management issues rose a lot reading this lol. Most characters are unlikeable and non-redeemable, specially Jisung (that fcking asshole) and Minhyuk (he pretty tho lol). Even Taesung in the beginning is trash but i'm glad he got his redemption arc and changed a lot for Sooyoung's sake. Overall, it was exhausting to read but it was a nice story.
Ways of Parting
This story hurts real deeply. What makes this story painful is because of how realistic it is. The way the author approached on the cause and effect of an inevitable breakup is amazing. Also, I like how you can't really hate the characters cause they're flawed in their own way, except Youngwoo. I just can't sympathize with his actions. What Taejoo went through was really tough. The pain of loss for Yoon in those 5 years was so heartbreaking, especially since he was left in the dark and wasn't able to be there for him. Their official breakup was so devastating yet kinda bittersweet. Their time apart helped them heal from the pain and burden they felt in those years and honestly, it was for the best. I love how Kwon was understanding and not pushy and gave Yoon a choice in their relationship. I just wanna give Yoon a big hug. He went through a lot of emotional and physical pain. I'm just really glad he gave Kwon a chance to begin again and be a better version of himself. Kwon is the best person for him. ️ I love this story so much.
