A Wasted Cow's manga / #Smut(174)

This series started off pretty serious and set itself up for a plotline but threw it down the drain for memes. I get that there's a comedy tag, but it was just so disappointing even though it was cute, but it contradicts itself. Characters have convictions that suddenly change in two chapters which doesn't make sense.

This is a crappy story from the get-go. It's essentially similar to watching a wimpy protagonist who's dumb and gets babied by every other character in the cast for the sake of story. The side characters have more color to them than the main lead and the fact that he realized his first love was abusive yet stays with him is extremely toxic. Not sure why the author is romanticizing this sort of relationship but it's tough to swallow. There's probably going to be a chapter where the main lead grows a pair and decides something for himself but then succumb to his abusive love again because that's just how the story is paving the path right now. Edit: Why am I not surprised. He actually went and got back with his abusive love. People don't change so easily and even though the lead acts like he was moving on, he's now back to square one. Now it's even more frustrating because the other romantic interest is left hanging and there's probably going to be a hatef**k scene between those two. Dropping this series. Edit 2: I joked about a hatef**k scene but wow I never actually expected it to happen.
