I like how the plot is handled. The pacing is very good, not too fast nor too slow and you can tell there's development. The author tries to make it subtle but it's very obvious which isn't a bad thing of course. Because this series is about careful planning, you can tell each panel has a meaning to it.

Why is this series being rated so low? The plot is rather decent, the main lead may be perceived as bland because she's optimistic, but she's clever and is willing to learn to adapt to any situation. If you're reading other people's reviews about the crappy duke husband and deciding to drop this, you're missing out as he's extremely irrelevant.

This was actually very cute despite the weird beginning. Story rounds itself out well, the characters are cute, and overall fluffy.

Very interesting dynamic between two friends.

This read has been a journey full of laughs. Every joke is very plain but funny since it's slapstick humor. Only downside to this would be the fact that it suffers from a monologue syndrome of sorts. 4/5 of every chapter is just the monologue of the protagonist, and it's only due to this monologue that the story even advances. At the beginning it's not noticeable, but down the line it gets stale.
