I know I do it to myself, but these stories stress me out so bad. Yes I understand why our FL is the designated target for being the main source of the problems. But at the same time, I want to drop kick the hell out of the ML. She literally got thrown into the situations in the past an present for bs reasons. But she still stayed and has mentioned repeatedly on how she is trying to overcome her last trauma an memories then asks if he is willing to wait. I feel like the difficulty in not only living through that trauma but then attempting to move forward and be happy with a man that is a constant reminder of the trauma is bound to be exhausting an overwhelming. Again, not saying she is completely clear of fault. But it irritates my soul with how much she is having to fight with herself mentally with so many different thing and then he with swing back around to throw around blame and not le he ge much word in. She literally could have told him to just feel it over with towards having a child and not looked twice about him having the curse. But despite everything else, she stayed and even offered to end it all with him. Not to mention, anytime FL recalls he time with past lover she always has a bitter response. But with present Theo, she smiles and thinks about how much she cares for him. Verbally stating "I love you" is not the only way to express your love for another person. In my opinion, the only times where FL's emotions toward him were hesitant is when he pushes for he to verbally confirm her feelings. What would have happened if he had continued to wait and notice her nonverbal forms of love language while she worked towards confidently focusing on her love towards him and the present while healing from the past?
