Bound to Be Fools
I absolutely love this. I thought their relationship while in HS happened suddenly, but it seems as if they just skipped over them starting to date to them already dating. They weren’t and then they were. It’s only in HS until the plot starts to really develop, then they are adults. I really like all the characters, even the ones that we should be weary of. There are two bad characters an uke and a seme that respectively go to the MC uke and seme counterpart. As for the bad seme, he is a gangster and loan shark to the good seme’s dad. After his dad passes, his family is left with his $50k+interest gambling fees. The good seme gets swindled by his boss and is left in more debt. The bad seme hears about this bus is still overall nice about it (at least so far) he hears about his bad luck with his boss and wants to deal with his ex-boss, but he’s too hard to track since he ran way abroad. Anyways, the bad seme is really nice to the good uke so it’s hard to not want them to be together. Even thought he good uke has abandonment issues and separation anxiety due to his mother’s suicide and his father’s sever lack of love and overly punishing him for any mistake, the good uke needs constant affection and affirmation of love. He cried easily, but it’s done well where it’s not overly annoying. The bad seme doesn’t seemed annoyed by his behavior and seems to actually like it, but not in an obsessive way (so far). He will, however, beat the living shit out of anyone who messes with the good uke, so there is that. Bad seme doesn’t know that the two good uke and seme went out in HS. He just knows that they were classmates and perhaps friends. As for the bad uke, he seems kinda suspicious but not a lot is known about him as of yet. It is sad though cause we see that the good seme is still in love with the good uke while he is with the bad uke. Oh and before I forget the good uke hatched a plan with one of the managers at the host club in order to get revenge of the good seme for breaking his heart in HS.
I Asked My Deskmate To Beat You
Bongchon Bride
Set in a historic dynasty in Korea, a slave was sold after being severely beaten to a farmer putting him into debt. The s slave is technically the third son to the master of the home, but because his mother was a concubine, and he remarried to a noble, he never showed any affection to the kid, but his younger half brother cares deeply for him… a little too deeply. Growing up as a slave he quickly befriended another young slave. They became brothers, then friends, then lovers. Sadly, he died of some unknown ailment. Now isn’t he car of this farmer giant who most people are afraid of, he is unused to the life of not a slave not doing slave work. The giant farmer lives with his blind and hard of hearing mother, who believes that he has a bride, not a slave. The two never use their names to one another (I don’t think they even know each other’s names) instead the giant farmer calling him Darling, and the slave calling him master. They eventually do the do, but it is not shown, but implied. At first, I knew they did some dirty stuff cause that was obvious, but it wasn’t until the middle of the next chapter did I understand that they actually had sex lol. It’s hella cute and the art style is very nice. There’s a plot simmering without being so open faced.
Touch Your World
(Chp 43 is uploaded twice, missing chapter 44 -now uploaded-. 45 is titled as 46, 46 as 47. 46 was uploaded twice; after chapter 55 the upload and half uploads get confusing due to them being out of order, mislabeled, and uploaded more than once, around chapter 61 they are in order again) Colorblind, the MC can only see color when the designer holds things or you he’s him directly (something like that). It’s a cute story, an easy read without too many complications. The MC being colorblind is new but the fact that he can only see in black and white is unrealistic, but it adds to the flare of the story.
Exotic Love
Ok I am absolutely loving thisss. It wasn’t too hard to catch on and thanks to the translators notes and extra effort to make sure readers are understanding the plot (plus this bliss of having some of the novel directly translated) it is such a great read. BecUse I can remember the spelling of the names I’ll just use the first initial) Director J has severe insomnia and uses alcohol and drugs to get what little sleep he can. 5 years ago, he had met an actor Hee, and decided to just ruin his life because this man gave Director J mixed feelings that he didn’t understand (he also saw him in a movie and felt the same way in screen). So Director J gets Hee’s manager or assistant, whatever, to plant drugs in his house (I believe it was after a big party that was at Hee’s place). Having no way to defend himself, Hee’s career went down the drain. Eventually Hee is given probation and this is where the story starts. Hee is able to meet Director J through a mutual acquaintance. Hee insists that he needs to apologizes to Director J for something that had happened at his party, but Hee doesn’t know it was Director J who ruined his life. After finally agreeing to meeting him Director J finds out that they had slept together and that he was on the receiving end. Furious and confused, he beats the shit out of Hee (he is now an actual movie director, whereas Director J is a director of a family company). Plot just goes on from there, ahh, so gooooood.
Darling for dessert
Can’t remember much other than the boss can’t taste sweet things, but of course with this guy he is able to. I had stopped reading and just never caught up. I may pick this back up again.
