Secret Relationship

Complete | McQueen Studio | 2019 released

Not your typical love triangle and I appreciate that so fucking much…or is it love square? Hard to tell since one of the characters doesn’t seem to express any love and more like, control? Anyways, uke grew up in nothing but poverty

Gohoubi wa Shitsuke no Ato

Ongoing | Niyama | 2019 released

Eh not a favorite, but it is cute. The age gap was kinda weird, but at least the down and dirty was of age so that’s good. It was still a nice and easy read.

A Physical Education

Complete | PANGIN | 2000 released

The PE teacher is figured out by a school teacher reviewer (I cannot think of the proper word rn. He isn’t a teacher, but he watches the teachers work and writes a report) that he has been taking money from willful parents to better their child’s grades after a parent teacher conference. The teacher unwillingly accepts the blackmail and goes the uke’s penthouse who happens to live in his same building. The demand? BDSM play. Eventually a bet is agreed on that if the seme could figure out when, where, who he was and what he did to him (the uke) he’d call off the blackmail. I didn’t care for the cover art as to why it took me so long to read this. I’m glad I did. I was laughing and talking to myself a lot in the beginning. I do feel bad for the seme of course, it’s no fun being blackmailed. Also I can’t stand the seme’s hair cut. Omg either get shorter bangs or longer hair. It looks like a fuzzy bowl cut with a bit of bangs. I can’t stand it. It makes him look unattractive. His eyebrows are already wild. I’d rather him keep the eyebrow style than that ugly hair cut.

Your wish is my command

Complete | Sagold | 2000 released

I absolutely love that it’s a magical boy BL manhwa. It took me forever to get used Tom the fact that the butt plug was the activation to him turning into a magical Boy and it turning into a sword. The powers and villains I thought were very unique and handsome for the most part. Very interesting plot. Even as an obvious love triangle, I was still rooting for the original seme the uke wanted to get with, which is rare since most love triangles have the uke going for the new or second person. I thought he was really nice and he genuinely liked the uke. But then boom. That smirk. That FUCKING smirk happened and I thought, ‘goddamit’. It’s a very funny read cause of the magical girl humor, but the plot is interesting enough, it’s very creative and not a typical love triangle/college life plot, so that’s nice. I do hope things turn out well for the original couple, the uke has been through enough. It sucks cause if they just told one another how they feel, none of this shit would have happened lol I will say there is a lot of rape cause of the villans the uke has to fight.

Touch Your World

Complete | 有糖漫画, 纸纹, 陈小可 | 2019 released

(Chp 43 is uploaded twice, missing chapter 44 -now uploaded-. 45 is titled as 46, 46 as 47. 46 was uploaded twice; after chapter 55 the upload and half uploads get confusing due to them being out of order, mislabeled, and uploaded more than once, around chapter 61 they are in order again) Colorblind, the MC can only see color when the designer holds things or you he’s him directly (something like that). It’s a cute story, an easy read without too many complications. The MC being colorblind is new but the fact that he can only see in black and white is unrealistic, but it adds to the flare of the story.

Ookami wo Karu Housoku

Complete | J. L. Langley,MAMAHARA Ellie | 2016 released

Set in the US, a lovely strong from a popular novel! A gay romance involving werewolves and (reverse) racism! Surprise, but not really, the Native American MC’s mom doesn’t like white people, but her son fancies blonde hair and blue eyes. Being a werewolf isn’t the main focal point of the story and I enjoy that. It’s refreshing that they are both werewolves, not one human trying to learn of a newfound existence. .Instead the plot focuses on their relationship and fated mates and the acceptance between themselves and within their family and friends. I love how quickly Chay (Native American) was so accepting of his mate being a guy. As for looks, he was spot on, so that was a bonus, but to deny the feeling of your mate was against his better judgement (for both of them really). I will like to add on that I thought it was strange af that even though Chay’s mom doesn’t like white folks, she named her kid one of the whitest American names I’ve ever heard and I think his middle name is Montgomery. Lol and many of the names of the other Native Americans (including werewolves) are very white or weird white American names like Tina, Bobby, and Keaton (Chay’s white lover, also a very strong werewolf, but doesn’t care. He came out to his family and left because they wouldn’t accept him). I am not sure if it’s just names the author thought white people had in America or they weren’t sure if Native American names were ok to use. Idk, but it’s funny and honestly took some getting used to.
