The Sound of Fire
The viewpoint of a gong - the last royal descendant of the ruined Han, the shou - the 'devil' is basically treated as an object of status, to be used in bed (and to make explosives). There is way too much sex, like everything revolves around fucking the Devil for both the Emperor and the MC. Devil is also a bit too eager to sleep with the MC all the time. When there is not sex, it's the Emperor being absolutely crazy about making gunpowder and other explosives, or the Emperor getting jealous. Read to about chapter 34, too disgusted to continue. There is no character I find even a little bit likeable, including the MC, and Devil is quite frustrating to watch - so many 'why???'
Suddenly Became a Princess One Day
