About half way the art changes for the worst. She's 8 years old for all of it. Then somehow she's 13 but she and all the characters look exactly the same. Even the adults look like little bodied kids. It's seems really childish like a kids story book.

There is no way that is the end. This historical YAOI not shounen ai. And this story is very much like a omegaverse, but uses different words. The "Blade Gleam" is the Alpha and the "Blade Guard" is the omega. The BGaurd can get pregnant with the BGleam's soul sword instead of actual baby. And there is lots of rape and dominance in this story. Gleams think they dominate all Guards and that guards should be nothing more than obedient sex slaves. But one BGuard will try to change the world and prove them all wrong. That's what this story is about. There are many teeth clenching moments so beware. But it's an amazing story. There is still much to the story even though it says it ended at 230. I hope they didn't just drop it. Oh the ML's master loves him more than his own life and will do anything to be with him. Don't listen to the other comments about him saying he's some bad rapest or whatever.
