Super long. But a great Victorian set romance between a maid and son of a wealthy family. Society is strict but their love endures. I love these two but mostly I love this historical setting.

I don't know. It started off wonderful and I thought I found a gem in the world of shoujo but then around the middle it just got...boring. Now that I think about it, the plot of this shoujo is actually one that's used a lot. Player boy falls for girl who "hates" him. There's even the whole step-sibling romance thing. Sigh, I really wanted to like this manga too because of the potential it had. That aside, I'm so grateful to the people who posted and translated the last chapter. Even with mangas that I don't love, I like to know the ending for closure.

lol, this is seriously what people call a slow burn. It's super slloooooooooow and your heart will get more frustrated than anything. But no worries, since it's a shoujo, happy endings are mandatory. Yanagi's rival Koujo(who doesn't see him as a rival) starts to become something more. As in romantically terms. It's got all of the main points of a shoujo. Love triangle, or is it love square? Misunderstandings. Drama. Unrequited love. Shoujo art. Clutzy lead. Etc, etc, etc. It is up there amongst one of my favorite shoujos though bc I love koujo(she's so awkward) and I love yanagi(he tries so hard to be cool but in front of the girl he loves, he fails miserably; it's hilarious and endearing).

This is THE epic feudal love story. Seriously this was my first anime+first manga. And I couldn't ask for a better first. It has everything. Action, adventure, romance, comedy, and you just fall in love with the characters as you go through the journey with them. You love them, you get frustrated, you laugh, you cry, and seriously inuyasha and kagome are the epitome of a real life couple. They argue like crazy, have their tough times, even have to deal with a undead ex, but at the end of the day, the place they belong is right next to each other. Lol I am a crack shipper so at times I was all sesshomaruxkagome and kikyoxinuyasha bc you feel bad for even the villains in here and well sesshomaru is just hot. It's long though so this isn't a manga you read in one go unless I guess you want to. Some of it is episodic so you could pick a random chapter and it would still make sense but it's best to read in order to get the details. This manga is what you call a classic. Lol or maybe that's just my bias; I love this manga.

Being normal is overrated. Why be a normal teenager, when you could be part of an organization that saves the world?? Unfortunately, saving the world is a lot less glamorous than people are made to believe. People die. Lies are everywhere. And you can't just solely rely on just your eyes anymore. It takes a special kind of person and Musashi is one of the few that takes up the challenge. She's strong, she's smart, and at times androgynous. Musashi kind of reminds me of Kim Possible, but cooler, bc she's so mysterious and she doesn't have a sidekick but later in the story she does get a love interest. One of my favorite female leads ever~

I put off reading this for the longest time because the cover picture is just...ugh it didn't look good; however, seriously the artwork in this is gorgeous, even if the cover doesn't look like it. And the story's not half bad either. It's like a twist on the Frankenstein's monster story with a hint of learning what it's like to be human. The male lead in this is absolutely adorable and his facial expressions are hilarious! It has romance blooming, and also contains other characters stories. I'm not sure why but I feel like there's something missing from this story though...maybe it's because it's not complete yet...I'm not sure, but I'll keep reading!
