this manga literally broke me even as i’m typing this im bowling my eyes out
first ever manga to make me cry
finished it in two hours and honestky wow as i was reading the reviews beforehand i was preparing myself mentally because clearly this was going to be heartbreaking but even knowing that fact it still didn’t stop me from solidly sobbing for the past 20 mins
my heart breaks so much for the boy so much just when they were going to get help, he loses her
and also the other couple that was just so tragic
and then the ending when he’s older i can’t jsut can’t knowing he’s been alone this whole time hurts so bad
and the ending was kinda ambiguous after saying bye to that one couple where he then drifts off in a boat and tells them he’ll be back soon
what if he didn’t because of his infectious illness that’s soon going to be eating his body whole
and let’s not forget the bus scene
that was too much watching them die off one by one and even the baby
this was too much for me
the promise to marry eachother and the panels with colour just made me so hurt now knowing they never got that
i’m so heartbroken and depressed now i wanna read a cute childhood romcom manga to make
me feel better
absolute masterpiece and how beautiful the art is it’s insane some panels just looked horrifying giving ominous horror vibes and then others that just break you
