FL was sentenced to death but she put her skills of war to use to escape but in the end her fiance killed her, he used her as a tool whereas his heart laid with his sister (incest makes me puke). Going back in time before her engagement (at 10 yrs old) with the prince she decides to not marry or be engaged with him at ALL costs, and claims she'll marry the person next to her. Conveniently, he's the "cursed emperor " of the neighboring kingdom (honestly take him over the prince anyday).
