Medical Return Webtoon

Ongoing | Kidari studio,Yuin,Yeon jae joong | 2019 released

MC that was a failure in his first life, and now has a second chance to change everything, becoming the best doctor-surgeon in the entire world [9/10] This manhwa seemed more like an enemies to lovers, and it had a great potential to be a toxic BL. Jihyun (MC) and Sangmin (villain) had more freaking chemistry than him and Hyemi (FL that i simply can't totally like). I mean, even thoguh he bullied him in his past life, he gave him a second chance in his new one after he saw that he wasn't doing anything to him after that little fight that they had. And then, Jihyun was like hating on him because Sangmin killed people, and was trying to find evidence to destroy him and bla bla bla... But like the ending? that was like those stories where the main characters can't be together and they just meet again after both of them just made their paths and are happy, but still remembering those time where they were toghether and happy lol. And also, Sangmin was obssessed with Jihyun, he said, or implied at least, that Jihyun was his first important person, what do you mean by that? that sound perfectly for a BL. Also, the way he looked at him when he was pointing the gun at Jihyun, with that sad and regretful face, I know that he didn't want to do that, maybe, because I know that he was very important to him, he showed him a true friendship, the first relation that he had with other people, I know that what he felt for Jihyun was geniune, even if he doesn't realize it. So yeah, that enemies to lovers would be better. Anyways, the story is good and has a good plot. The MC is basically a genius after having a lot of practice in surgical procedures and diagnosis, also has the knowledge of the things where he can help and invest to make more money (in his twenties he was a freaking millionaire). I liked very much the relationship that he had with his parents, since he realized all the wrong thing he did to them, he decided to change everything and made them happy, saving the life of his father and bringing a new and comfortable life to his mother. In the pther hand, the fact that in his first life was the last one in his grades, and that now he was the first in the entire school was a point that was interesting, because it shows how Moojin, his friend (that was also like him), and Chulwoo (the other bully) changed for good thanks to the way he was living. I mean, he just didn't change his life, but the others too, making them to live a better life with a success that maybe didn't have in the first life. Now, about Sangmin. I didn't liked him because the actions he did aren't justified just for his past. But, I can understand that he had a big future in his hands that was forced to accept, in any ways, since his asshole father was a freaking abuser that treated him and his other kids (Hyemi and Bumsoo) like trash, but he had a bigger hate towards him since his mother was an ordinary woman with schyzophrenia, thing that also makes me feel bad for him since his life wasn't easy, he was always under a presure that in the end made him do bad things just to have a little peace and satisfy the orders of his father. I also think that he would not be like that, or at least he wouldn't have reach the point to kill a lot of people, if it wasn't for the new Jihyun, that being honest, even though he was a genius, it was all thanks to his knowledge of the past, at the end, Sangmin was the true genius there, since he made a lot of effort to reach that point, but his efforts were nothing since Jihyun was already receiving all the spotlight. Still, like i said, his past it's not justification for his action, I can't forgive him for what he did, killing a young happy woman and almost trying to kill a sweet little child, but there is a way of me that wants to forgive him, and wants to show him that what he had with Jihyun was the only thing that he needed. If he didn't do the things he did, maybe he could have destroy his father with the help of Jihyun, but his perturbed mind was in a point of no regression. I liked that the godess also gave him a second opportunity, realizing that was the actions of his family what made him like that, and that he was just an innocent child once that could have a good life if not for those that hated him and put him in the corner of a cliff. The way he just found himself drinking his favourite drink with Jihyun was a scene that I liked, since he know that can't gain his favor again, at least he will drink silently enjoying the possibly last moment with the one who once was his person. And also Jihyun, just knowing that he was Sangmin, and just drinking silently after seeing his new state (half burned, and kinda homeless and alone, but at least with a better mind without his sins following him, and still practicing medicine and helping the other villagers) and in a way just trying to not think about the past, and just enjoying the time with the one who has a good relationship once. Oh i just adored it, really. In the other hand, about the women in the story. First, I didn't like Hyemi, she didn't had anything more than being a surgeon and a chaebol, we didn't see anything more than that. She was cute and very supportive, but still she was just meh. Second, Yeonhee, the first wife, was a little better, in a way i think it would be interesting to see how Jihyun would have made a better relationship with her after all the complications they had in the past. Third, Amy, that gorgeous american woman that was literally one perfect option, he helped her in her projects and he received money for that, he could go to the best hospital in the world thanks to her, and also put his name in a lot of papers that gain recognition over the world. I mean, she was everything, was more interesting and had a bussiness on her own, but anyways. Fourth and last, Mary, that godmother of the american mafia, she was just very beautiful and interesting, I mean, what could have been the plot with Jihyun dating someone from the mafia, ot could be more interesting (at least for me). Also, she literally gave him all the proof to put in jail Sangmin's father, that stupid asshole that just put stones in his path; she literallysaved him and allowed him to do his revenge. Mary was a very good option too. To end this, I want to say that even though didn't like Hyemi too much, I know that Jihyun is happy with her, and they have a beautiful family, with a son well-raised, that wants to follow his father's steps. So that's what counts, them being happy in this new life where Jihyun could not only save himself of a bad destiny, but also others that came to him for help. (Brief mention to that korean doctor in the USA and the uncle of Hyemi that was like the favourite son of her grandfather after he was always taking care of him; those old men were so freaking hot, they were my type, I would have liked to see more of them, so handsome <3)
