Eien no Yoru no Hate
Read for a little melancholic toned love story between neighbours - Atsushi raises his nephew and gradually becomes more and more involved with his mysterious neighbour, falls in love but of course, it's not that easy.
40 x 40 Chikuwa Kaigi
Read for Fun read about two middle aged men who secretly kept their feelings through the years and finally come to closeness. Very chill (ex-)wives and daughter act as support and first and foremost act very mature. I love how the initial happy family picture gets broken - not by pain and loss but by cunning women and the laid back daughter, leaving the men to sort their shit out!
Okusama wa Alpha
Conflicted about this one. In the beginning it was hard to understand what their conflict even really was. It seemed rushed and chopped. Semes care and understanding was strangely in contrast to him not reacting to his partners advances at all. Especially when in the end he even hints at carrying their next child?! Then why is he so cold and opposed to bottoming in the first place?? I liked the approach to get therapy when having couple problems but the development including the mother(in law)really turned me off. They didn't solve anything by themselves! They didn't talk, they didn't approach each other, instead a lot of unnecessary conflict and misunderstandings were created. On the other hand, the art is really awesome, it had some unique content and of course, the ending is like the cwuuuuuuutest family portrait ever.
