this low rating is bullshit and has nothing to do with the content of the story. the lead just happened to be a woman who got into relationships with shitty men who are married because she was hurt so bad by a past love and her father so she purposely seeks out unavailable and unreliable men so she wont fall in love again and get hurt. this is imo an interesting set up and if u dont like that then...dont read the story? people low rating the story just because they dont like the morals of the female protaganist is SUCH misogynistic short sighted bullshit but whatever. the irony that this has a lower rating than so many rapey TL stories with female leads that have like almost no internal life or personality beyond being pure innocent virigns with no agency or desire for themselves ugh let me stop tho. This story isnt smut, there's sex but tis hardly sown this is just a josei love story. its very adult but only PG-13 so if ur wanting fap material u wont find it in this but its very short and sweet. it was so nice to see such a respectful and sweet male love interest. gosh remember those? i cant remember the last het manga i read that even had such a thing. tho thats partly my fault for mainly reading the smutty ones. i suspect more josei mangas like this are less Problematic and shallow but anyway, i liked this alot! i wish it hadnt ended so soon i would have loved to see their relationship evolve over time but it at least did end on a high note and a very sweet hopeful message. the lead is not unaware taht she's doing fucked up stuff and she rarely hates herself and thinks she's a bad person but she's unable to get over her fear of being abandoned. rather than being the woman whose cheated she chose to be the other woman. which imo makes total sense to me like her pov makes sense and u dont have to agree with it! her making some bad life decisions shouldnt define her entire character for the rest of her life esp when this entire story is about her learning to open her heart again and change her "homewrecker" ways. and like here's the thing, these men would've cheated anyway, they were triflin' ass bastards and she herself thinks men will ALWAYS cheat she's def going with the belief that these men would cheat with whatever lady approached them. and with guys who DO cheat they probably would've cheated with another woman if not her (no ofc not all men cheat but if she beleived that she wouldnt be living like she does). this idea that she's the devil basically implies that these men would've been faithful upstanding husbands if this harlot hadnt come and seduced them with her succubus like aura or smth ridiculous like that. she's esp voluptuous or sensual she's just a regular woman who has relationship baggage and is also really good at her job! she's smart and capable and her love interest falls in love with her because he admires her deeply. i LOVE when love from a man to a woman is based on admiration. well love based on admiration in general is great but its so rare to get it in het couples i find. there's always the need to make the man more amazing and the one out of the woman's league or the guy is a dbag who "loves" her but still insults her constantly or demeans her by being all "well ur dumb n ugly but ur cute i giss!" ugh. anyway this guy is really mature and kind and thoughtful and i was rooting them to be together SO much and i wished we got a few more chpts of them being an official couple and i do like that she hasnt been Cured of her baggage just that she's made the decision to change and allow herself to engage in a healthy relationship with a loving commited partner. anyway if u want some short and sweet and vanilla het love story this is honestly more than worth the very little amount of time it would take to read it. a solid B story, wouldve been rated higher if it wasnt so short and ended right as it was getting rly interesting.

this is so silly and so wholesome and also rly smutty at the same time. its about as light a read as u can get but it doesnt leave a bad taste in my mouth like some other porn with barely a plot that i can name rn...istg the mangakas put way more effort into even the dumbest BLs than any TL manga i've seen so far. and ive seen alot now. (also why are the actually interesting looking guys always in the yaoi and not in the het stuff? conversely i find myself gravitating to the japanese bl more these days cause there's a bit more variation in body types and appearance than there is in the korean bl webtoons. altho there's some great bl webtoons. at least there's also some great josei style smutty webtoons too.....japan pls..where is ur good het smut? i KNOW it exists!!! so WHERE IS IT?). anyway go ahead and read this if ur bored and want a giggle with ur fap material idk.

short, sweet, consensual lol. thats always refreshing? im not a total hater of dubcon but the way it plays out in TL is always so banal and leaves a sour taste in my mouth or worst of all...is BORING. the worst thing erotica can be is boring imo. anyway this wasnt super memorable or great but it was enjoyable enough and the guy was a more classic tsundere type. ie not a raging dbag or cold but rather taciturn, reserved, quiet and not esp effusive with his affections however he is also clearly in love with the girl and doesnt constantly demean her or play hot n cold with her. he's pretty straightforward and a good boyfriend. there is a bit of an age gap (a small one). but as its a factor that he kinda played an older brother role to her for most of her life i figure its worth mentioning? anyway this does have sex scenes! but its overall pretty wholesome i'd say. (tho the guy is the typical baby faced super thin TL manga type of youth and that doesnt rly do it for me if i'm honest lol)

i dont have a ton to say about this except that i quite liked it. its not anything too special but its fairly sexy and sweet albeit the guy's in this arent rly My Type so to speak. (looks wise anyway). i dont have anything esp negative to say about it or positive. i think it woulda benefited from being a bit longer but im also fine to see it end where it did. its the very model of a B grade work. (worth reading! but not a Must read). this manga can also be purchased or rented on Renta's english site (erenta!). im definitely more fond of Yurishima's other work (currently on coolmic) Guro Gyaru ni Natte Kara which i refuse to call by its english name (but the literal translation would...not have worked either tbf lol). unfortunately that one is only available in the vertical scrolling aka tatekomi format which i hate! it cuts up full manga pages into individual panels, enlarges said panels and then releases chpts that are only 9 pages out of say 30 page chpt. its not coolmic doing this, they just translate it. it just sucks that renta couldnt get to it first and release it in its book aka manga format instead.) anyway this has a cold aloof bottom and a more lively warm top so thats always refreshing to me. i want to say its friends to lovers but...they werent rly friends? more like acquiantences? idk. its cute. read it if ur bored.

this was such a charming surprise of a romance webtoon. i'll give a more detailed review later but i do recommend it. alas its super G rated. not even any hot kiss scenes (unlike the other workplace romance webtoon im enjoying so far A Business Proposal which is able to step into PG-13 territory. we love 2 see it!). anyway this was still pretty nice tho. (i like the comedy in this a bit more too since the antics in Business Proposal are a bit too OTT sometimes esp in comparison to everyone else around the female lead in that). also the kid in this story? adorable!!

this wont be a real review, rather i just want to say that This is the kind of juicy interpersonal type drama i live for in my erotic fiction. (or rly any fiction tbh) EDIT: currently on hiatus. raws for chpts 12 and onward can be read on pixiv for free. right now there's 13 chpts in total and the comic has been on hiatus since April 26th. the author seems like she updates once a month tho. so who knows when the next chpt comes. at any rate idk when the translation team will get back to it either. so for now...its going on Already Read cuz i have no idea when ill get to resume reading it.

the story is thoughtful but a bit slow paced. the art tho? STUNNINGGG. read it just for that. the author's previous manga was alot more stimulating story but this one which focuses on tattooing and art is more visually sumptuous. (both are beautiful tho. such excellent art why doesnt this mangaka have more work available...). i think this story woulda been rated higher by me if both men were as well developed as the blonde aka the top aka the tattoo artist was. we get alot of insight into him and he's got layers but the other guy aka the living art piece aka the bottom aka ??? like i cant even think of another way to describe him? he was rly beautiful and rly delicate and rly afraid of being alone and he was never given a chance by the writing to be more than that and thats a Shame. its a 3 star story but the art is 5 stars and i wish i could rate them both separately but i cant so 4 stars it is i giss...(the sex scenes are sexy n erotic tho so thats also a plus), if u find u like it maybe just buy it off renta since the translator gets pretty aggressive about how much they dont like the story after a while...bit distracting.

this is another manga that sounded more problematic when reading comments...than it actually was. i think its main problem is it presents itself as very sweet and wholesome and then...suddenly isnt. altho i wouldnt say it goes Dark it def goes into territory that was darker than how it starts or ends and it absolutely can give a reader whiplash. basically it doesnt turn into Warehouse (a very dark korean bl webtoon that does traffic in confinement and rape by a childhood friend. tho in that case they start out the story estranged). so having read Warehouse this came off as very tame and people are buggin. but yeah spoiler alert, the "seme" is very possessive but he isnt especially violent or controlling to make the guy love him so much as he freaks out when the guy starts to look unhealthy and start saying he wants to die. which...thats a good reason to freak out! However in real life, when ur longtime crush bff does this maybe dont tie them up and kiss+lick them all over like a human lollipop? opt perhaps for therapy or idk...hugs? some hot tea? anyway this wouldnt be a smutty yaoi manga if that's what actually happened lol. anyway no consequences arise from this act despite the "uke" being confined for what sounds like a week? its weird. but he keeps his job, figures out his feelings, and becomes much healthier after this ordeal so to quote shakespeare "all's well that ends well". anyway its def Problematic but imo not so much that it makes the story unreadable but ymmv ya? i think its worth checking out but the story isnt necessarily strong enough for me to be like "you should DEF read this!" either. it really is just an okay read with a very strange premise and somewhat confused tone...(like the author had a fetish she wanted to work out but still wanted to do a sweet wholesome love story so she tried to marry the two ideas and uh...it didnt work super well lol), basically if you DO want something dark and kinky and messed up...this wont really do it for you either lol. (just read warehouse then). or one of Harada's many fucked up works if ur wanting a more japanese flavor of fucked up.

this is a really controversial one and i understand why tbh. however i read all of it and i didnt hate it. nor did i think the writer made a bad choice. it IS highly problematic and does a thing that alot of BLs even ones with dubcon dont do. which is...they call the dubcon what it would be in real life: rape. and have the person react in a way a real life person would to a sex act they didnt fully consent to: rage and despair and terror. its especially a gutsy choice for the writer to take because this guy is not only the lead love interest but a guy the bottom Kurama was deeply infatuated with for YEARS. and yet despite getting his wish to be with his crush it goes horribly wrong and turns into a nightmare instead of a dream come true. now thats hard to accept if u want a typical romance and erotic scenes and i respect that. for me tho this choice was very interesting imo and it kept me wondering how their relationship would work if ever esp when Kurama p much rejects him COMPLETELY after the act is committed and they dont even get to see each other again for 3 years. after which there's been some serious self reflection on both their parts. i do think the context is interesting, he did want to sleep with Kento (mostly referred to as Kirishima in the manga tho but i aint writing out all that!) just not at that time because he was clearly not emotionally ready for a myriad of reasons we the readers know from hearing his thoughts for almost 2 whole chpts. meanwhile Kento it turns out was also hardcore pining and lusting after Kurama the entire time. the dark irony that both of them deeply desired each other yet feared being rejected or being disgusting to the other causing them both to suppress their feelings until they explode in the WORST way. kento takes kurama's confession of his crush and his desires to have sex but not accept himself as a gay man and live his life honest with his desires...as p much a greenlight for kento to give kurama "what he wants" in spite of kurama saying otherwise cause in kento's mind..thats secretly what kurama wants even if he cant admit it to himself...and in another manga thats how it would go. that night would awaken smth in kurama and after some reluctance they'd become a couple, instead that's NOT what happens. kurama calls Kento a rapist and tells him to fuck off and Kento is so shocked by this reaction (he genuinely was not reading Kurama's clear protests as sincere) and spends the night alone and crying and feeling so guilty. it was rly angsty intense stuff. and again a gutsy choice cause i think a ton of readers NOPE'd right out of the story after that. but i admired this take. they do ofc eventually become a couple and work it out but not without that 3 year gap in time where Kento matures some and apologizes sincerely while Kurama realizes he cant keep denying himself what he wants and who he is. i DO think the writer tries to have it both ways sometimes. where kurama was like "you wronged me!" and while also saying he "acted like" he didnt want it and tried to guilt kento and like...did you want it or DIDNT you, please be consistent. kento does however repeatedly say he forced him cause he wanted him so badly and figured kurama would accept him eventually if he made him come and told kurama he wants to date him. which again in another manga is how it would go. like oh that was mean but...since i came and u are sincere about me i guess its ok! nope bitch not this time! that said even when they reunite it take sa while for kurama to be honest with himself or kento and the sex scenes while hot are still not very gentle and loving right away. there's still alot of tension between them even as they cant ignore their attraction to each other. anyway! this is a long review because i felt like i cant explain why i think this is a good story and worth reading without going into detail. i dont think it deserves such a (comparatively) low rating among BL mangas because i think it takes alot of risks and the art is great and the sex is erotic and intense. its rly hard to look away even when ur like OH NO. anyway it worked for ME but i do get why alot of people werent into it and i do think knowing what ur going into will help alot when reading this. so the scene itself doesnt shock and take the reader by surprise we can actually think about and reflect on what the author was going for. on another note this is an erotic bl that has SO much dialogue and thought bubbles and narration. like way more than i usually see in these kinds of stories. its a very wordy and emotionally rich story and i love that about it. i wouldnt call it a favorite but i do think its way better than it's given credit for being. and thats that on that. (i do still like the spin off Lost Virgin more and think it works better as a Romance but its not quite as thrilling or intense as a story. imo. its sexy as hell tho!). PS: i cant recommend the BLCD of this highly enough. its so well acted seriously. it helped me appreciate the story alot more too. the voice on the guy who plays Kento? hoooo *fans self*

this was truly...an Experience. it was just so bizarre. it was rly kinky and perverted but also rly sweet? anyway the dream man in this story is a tentacle monster and u can bet this smut manga gets hella mileage out of that. while the female lead starts out as a wallflower she gets more agency and backbone as the story progresses. i do apprecaite that its mostly from her pov. this didnt blow me away or anything and the art is kinda standard webtoon style art. that lacks the fluidity and expressiveness of manga style art but has the benefit of nice coloring to sometimes fall back on. the coloring isnt that special here tho. nor is the style memorable or distinctive. the story is very distinctive beccause i dare say i cant htink of any other porntoon with a male love interest whose true form is a tentacle monster of unknown origin. also the female lead well she's just the lead rly, is never assaulted by him like it would be a lie to say there isnt like tentacle rape hentai shenanigans but none of them involve the main character who is treated with care and affection by tentacle man from the start. he's also very nice to look at in his human form. im easy 2 please ok. anyway this is super short and a breezy read. (it coulda honestly stood to be even shorter, or rather i woulda read another 10 chpts of them being weird and domestic together and would have been glad if the secondary guy and antagonist of sorts had fucked off way earlier than he did.) also the crazy lady who appears later on doesnt die horribly at the end which i appreciate. i mean she's a terrible person but if that shitty coworker of main character got to live then so does the crazy bitch who likes wild sex! albeit the coworker is the kind of banal dbag u can meet in real life and the female antagonist was more like a full on anime villainess. just wild. (srsly this webtoon is SO outside the box and yet strangely predictable at the same time?). ne way its decent het porntoon if u ask me but u wont be missing out on a masterpiece or anything if u skip it.
