first half is from her perspective and its great. proper shoujo hs romance shenanigans. the second half is from his and is a melodramatic MESS. also that ending with their daughter having a thing for their adult best friend? YIKES

the anime is better tbh

this is the cutest most wholesome romance webtoon ive read so far. I would say its part shoujo highschool romance and part shounen action comic and ALL comedy. Its a bit like Rumiko Takahashi’s works if i think about it. Which is perhaps why i adored it so much. I was a big ranma fangirl back in the day but tbh i liked most of her work, and it had the usual marrying of action, romance, and comedy. like Ranma it does interesting things with gender roles albeit in a very diff way. Anyway altho it was super stinkin sweet, its also really moving and manages to feel light and fun without feeling lightweight and vapid. Furthermore the female lead is Goals and the male lead is the SOFTEST boy. Finally its absolutely hilarious and if this wasnt a korean webtoon it would prob already be an anime cause it would be perfect as one. I would say its tone also reminds me a bit of School Rumble but this one is def better to it’s main female lead but unlike Rumble, the extended cast is def less fleshed out. I do adore all the side and supporting characters but we dont really get to know some of them as much as i would have liked. Two in particular come to mind. But anyway the plot manages to feel fast moving and frantic and while it took me a few eps to catch up with its hectic and “noisy” style, once i did i was really ALL in. this is great for binging and i wonder how the pace would have felt if i’d been stuck reading it on a week to week basis while it was running. At any rate i highly recommend this, and even tho its set in a highschool the actual schooling is barely a factor (which the comic cheekily points out on several occasions). The tongue in cheek take on the many highschool romance tropes is also really fun and never feels overused. I seriously laughed so much! (and also SUCH a happy ending my heart needed this)

so im crying really hard right now. and i dont know WHAT i expected but somehow it wasnt That? like goddamn well played once again Ilkwon. auuughhh im gonna go lay down now. (i'll come back with a proper review of this later ok. i need like..a few days)

um wow i LOVE this? its def the most fun omegaverse i've read. and tbh it rly feels like a story about two ridiculous teen boys falling in love that just happens to be set in omegaverse. its so funny and sweet and super sexy and dare i say? roomaaaantic. tsugumi joins the super short list of omegas and or "ukes" who are NOT to be fucked with. he's a force of furious nature that is more than a match for the fairly strong himself Megumi. but..he's also a total blockhead lol. i love him so much. and megumi is a true gentleman even in the face of a wild dog in human form like tsugumi. aall he wants is to shower his boyfriend with love but his boyfriend is a madman and a fool so...its hard. anyway i highly rec this one folks.

short, sweet, consensual lol. thats always refreshing? im not a total hater of dubcon but the way it plays out in TL is always so banal and leaves a sour taste in my mouth or worst of all...is BORING. the worst thing erotica can be is boring imo. anyway this wasnt super memorable or great but it was enjoyable enough and the guy was a more classic tsundere type. ie not a raging dbag or cold but rather taciturn, reserved, quiet and not esp effusive with his affections however he is also clearly in love with the girl and doesnt constantly demean her or play hot n cold with her. he's pretty straightforward and a good boyfriend. there is a bit of an age gap (a small one). but as its a factor that he kinda played an older brother role to her for most of her life i figure its worth mentioning? anyway this does have sex scenes! but its overall pretty wholesome i'd say. (tho the guy is the typical baby faced super thin TL manga type of youth and that doesnt rly do it for me if i'm honest lol)

this was SO underwhelming and eventually i just kinda gave up on the first couple's story. it was problematic yes but that didnt bug me, i twas BORING. someone compared it to a walmart version of Megumi to Tsugumi which was first of all HILARIOUS and second of all...that is correct but also unfair to walmart. maybe i'd call it a Dollar General version of MeguTsugu. anyway the reason it has 2 stars instead of 1 is entirely because of the second couple and that couple is also why i started to read the first few chpts of the second volume. so technically i didnt read "all" of it because i again skipped the other (first introduced) couple's story because it doesnt get any less stupid tbh. that said the second couple takes their time to go "all the way" by which i mean they dont even do it until the second volume. i mean thats not rly a critique but a complaint. i didnt low rate it for that but its worth mentioning. anyway their sex scenes are enjoyable to read tho as the alpha in this one is very sweet and not a boring cliche either. and the omega is also more distinctive and not smaller or meek or needy or whatever. his normally cool demeanor melting away during his heats is very much a sight to see~ anyway i dont recommend it but you could do worse tbh. it wont like disgust or offend omegaverse readers since its not more problematic than the usual but its also severely lacking on the romance AND eroticism front with the first couple. and ofc because each volume are both split between the two couples, the second one and actual good one doesnt get nearly as much development and focus as they deserve. the result is underwhelming af. at least its a quick read lol.

another omegaverse! and another one where the omega and alpha are "rivals" of sorts. its okay? i dont have any big complaints about it so much as it felt like it was on the edge of being really good and then settled for just okay but not meh. its def better than a meh but its still not like great either. if you like omegaverse and "tough" badass bottoms or omegas then this is a good get. he's not a muscle queen or anything but he isnt a pushover and is strong. there's also a female alpha in here who shows up to cause some problems because why not lol? i thought she was an entertaining antagonist but thats cause i do love a bad girl. sadly this is a BL so she doesnt get her own spinoff romance with a female omega or another male omega....the femdom vibes were strong with her. anyway she's just a mild inconvenience to the couple finally becoming a Pair but i figure i'd mention it. she's not ever a romantic obstacle cause neither has feelings for her, she's rly there more as a trickster figure to test the devotion of the alpha. cause she's a bored rich girl and thats whta they do i giss. anyway in conclusion, i liked it but i alrdy forgot half of it lol. despite only having finished it a week ago. (ps: there is sex but so little and so brief that i am not going to tag this as smut even tho its def not a shounen ai either. its PG16 i guess? just be aware of that) but yes what sex Does happen is indeed consensual and wholesome.
