it suffers from the usual misunderstanding of this genre, machine made lace, and fabric we have today, it's tbo a lot lower in quality than handmade lace and fabric in the past was, it would def not be seen as something high quality, the colors would be sorta interesting to them tho, in varying degrees depending on the shade, plus the whole myth of ready made clothing being more convenient, untrue, especially in the time when thread and fabric were limited in supply, and a big expense, they were pretty much hated when they showed up here, and people vastly preferred getting custom clothing, also sorta weird in the business planning department scenes
