Soukyoku (MEGU Iroha)
A twincest wit superiority complex. Twins brother, the younger one always wanted to be like the older. He imitated everything. But one day, the younger said he wanted to touch the older, but getting rejected and said weird. After that, they divert from each other. The younger becomes so distant and quite the opposite of the older. The older is a top student, while his brother is in need of extra study. But someday, the younger asks to make a deal with the older, that he will surpass the older's score. If he make it, the older has to listen to what the younger says. It's interesting. The art is amazing and the plot seems like it will lead to psychological things. I mean, I caught a glimpse of that fucked-up-eyes in the last pages of this manga. Can't wait for more. EDIT: Second chapter is here, I think the art is getting worse so I lessen the score for art to 8.5. And here, the younger brother seems serious about their deal so he studies a lot. Just skip everything, he's succeeded being rank first at the exam, beating his older brother who is placed at the second rank. Okay, seems like we will see the butt sex very soon after this. 8.5 9 8.5 8.5
Sentimental Garden Lover
Chapter 7 (24 January 2011) Summary: Love is found in the strangest places and with the most unexpected partners. The men (and cats!) of SENTIMENTAL GARDEN LOVER burst into heart-throbbing bloom! A scruffy stray cat wishes for big hands to hold an abused man, and a cute kitten begs for speech to comfort a broken-hearted stranger. Wander further into the garden, and you'll find close siblings upset by a love rival; a jaded delinquent flustered by a trusting bookworm; an evasive, glasses-hating man; and a president eager to find a weakness in his perfect secretary. For both cat and human, the quest for love is here! Okay, this manga is ... yeah, quite good. Despite being all cliche, it has a good theme for the stories. First story is about a cat who wished to be a human so that he could protect the uke from his abusive partner. So he did. It was rather annoying but okay. Too supernatural. The second story is also about a cat turning into a human, but it was the other cat, Shima, who ran away and was found by a man who was left by his ex lover because of marriage. I don't really like it since the uke's character design isn't to my liking. The third story is interesting. A delinquent who hid in a bookstore and accidentally read a book that the uke really loved. Even though at first the seme denied he liked the book, but later on he started to accept it. But when his dark past got involved, he decided to put it to an end. He got beaten so badly and I thought he was dead. But fortunately he wasn't an now was happy with the uke. The forth story is about bothers who loved each other. Pretty cliche, but still good. Two brothers who always together, one day the older caught the younger with a girl, then getting all depressed even running away, searching consolation at his poor friend's home. But when reconciliation came, it finished. It was a bit disturbing when the younger told the older that, even though one day would come when he would find someone for his life, it would definitely be a lot like his older brother. Pretty deep, huh. The fifth story is about a worker who was being confessed to by his junior. But, the junior wore glasses, and he hated glasses for it reminded him of his bad, past lover. But the seme insisted until he could find a way. In the end, the uke decided to wear glasses as well. The last story is probably the best. A secretary worked for his lazy-ass president. The president found his weakness, and then used it to threat the uke to change the appearance into a delinquent one. He got it, and then they went on a date of eating such deadly delicious dessert. Then, when one day the seme suggested him to introduce to other companies, the uke showed a strange expression of devastation. It made the seme feel guilty of course. I like it the most because the reconciliation was a good sex because the other stories lack of them. Nice, but not good enough to be considered as my favorite. 8.5 8.5 8.5 8.5
Vanilla (kitahata Akeno)
Chapter 1 (13 November 2014) Summary: The pastry shop Natsuki works at as a patisserie has been garnering a lot of interest ever since it was featured in a magazine article. The shop has been receiving tons of new customers – which was to be expected, except when one particular visitor comes in. Nice, but not enough. It was too short and not detailed. The conflict was almost not there and the reconciliation seemed so hang up. I wish it were longer though. The younger brother was so damn cute and the older brother ... just being older brother. But still, it was supposed to be a good one. But I'm not one for this kind of story. 3.5 3.5 3 3
Iki o Hisomete, Koi o
Chapter 4 Kazushi and Keishi are brothers that used to have a great relationship. But everything changed when Kazushi failed an important exam. Not being able to fulfill his family expectations, Kazushi, ashamed and discouraged, begins to avoid his family, resorting to sarcasm every time he faces his brother. Even though the theme is ordinary, I like it quite a bit. The art is decent and the characters, despite not exposed much, are likable. Perhaps. Looking forward for more! EDIT: Aaaaa they made up at least! Although the pacing is a bit too fast imo, but I still like it. Many people seem disappointed with this chapter, but not me. I like it even more than before. Now end that cliffhanger and give me a proper chapter! EDIT: Finally they made up and can communicate all the problems they have. Oh god, told you it's gonna be awesome. I raised the stars to 5. 4.5 | 5 | 4.5 | 5
Uchi no Ani no Renai Jijou
Chapter 6 Amazing, as expected from Sagami Waka. The plot is splr but trong here. Even though the uke is a bit too cruel, yet in the end he realized his feelings too. Definitely the type of story that I like the most. Oh, and the mom here is so damn supportive. I love her. 4.5 | 4.5 | 4.5 | 4.5
