One word: AMAZING. I don't know this manga could be this amazing. It has everything, great art, strong lead character, twisted plot, perfectly planned storyline, hot guys, geniuses, just everything. Fon and Jacques really make a great couple. I know from the tag that this has some bromance vibes but I can't believe this has so much deeper. It's like BL with no kiss scene. I mean, there are a lot--A LOT--of moments where they show affections even without saying I love you. For example, when Fon tries to suicide, and then Jacques saved him. There are confession. "I hate it when you're not here." "I don't want to go back to that room without you." "There's only you..." "I won't let you go..." It's obvious, right? Jacques really loves Fon, from whichever side people will look. The intimacy is just too much to make my heart clenched. I just hope at least they would kiss at least one, passionate kiss. Or not, a single chaste kiss. They're too real it hurts too see this manga isn't even tagged as shounen ai. And I'm not talking about the romance only. The plot is great, about artificial beings. In Ilegenes, an island which is resemble as Sodom from being so malicious, some people try to purify this island from that crime. So here it is the lead main character: Fon, begins his battle. He's got everything: super good-looking face, and also perfect brain. He also has such a good attitude and personality traits. But then, everything becomes so twisted when he learns the truth. Yes. Chapter 23 and 24 are so much a turn around for this manga. A lot of truth being told, and even Fon's personality becomes so twisted and the changes. But then there's still Jacques. He's got his back. He turns the troubled and bewildered Fon to his sanity. Then... everything will continue as they face the battle ahead. 10 10 10 10

Ilegenes - Giyoku no Koukyoukyoku

Complete | KUWABARA Mizuna,ISHIZUE Kachiru | 2010 released

I've never hated any female character as much as I hate Gabriel. Seriously, that girl is just a fucking annoying bitch. I've hoped this manga will be better and even have more and more BL-ish moments, but I'm wrong. Why does it have to be that girl. I hate her, so arrogance, so annoying. Just know your place bitch. And I also have some complaints about the art designs. Yes, overall it's the same, but not for Fon's. His eyes are supposed to be bigger than in here. He looks more mature now. Not that I'm complaining about his age, I know he's growing up, but his aura as an uke is decreasing! Oh, also that girl's appearance is just like a copy-cat of Fon's. Seriously, I hate that bitch to death. She takes a liking to Jacques, acting so lovestruck it's so damn annoying. Jacques is only for Fon. Full stop. I'm so irritated by the decreasing amount of BL moments. There's only one as I remember, that's when Jacques was having a nightmare about Fon committing suicide, and he couldn't save him. Yes, afterward he's in fear of losing Fon. Hugging so tightly and never let go... "Are you alive? You're alive right?" Oh goodness, that's so deep. And then, when Fon has no confidence in attacking Gabby, Jacques says "I will protect you," GOODNESS! a single but honest "I will protect you" is way more powerful than ten of "I love you"s! Seriously! I wish to see more, yes. I'm still hoping for the better chapter. Nicholas is now siding Gabby, and if it's true then in the future he will be the villain in the novel. Yes, I've read some spoiler of the novel. It's sad that Fon and Jacques are no longer together in their mission after Fon's elected as a president, even Jacques says that he doubts Fon... Fon, who feels betrayed, of course can't believe that. But then, Fon protects him, twice, taking bullets for him. Yes, he still loves him, how couldn't he? This pairing will be the death of me. Please, just make Gabby die! I hate her gut! Such a disturbance for Fon's and Jacques's relationship! 9.5 9 9 (I hate Gabby to death) 9

I like this a lot. The conflict is on the spot it makes me shiver with excitement. But sadly the reconciliations seem rushed and off. I want to see that butterfly night guy suffer. Damn it, at the first story, it is always the seme who suffers. I want to see more affection since their relationship is interesting. And the second story, as always the mangaka always goes with a bang. Like, the start is amazing; uke gets anxious of having HIV, but it's actually a chicken pox! But their relationship is nice to watch. Misunderstanding, and the past love. And how they handle each other's problem. That misunderstanding, and the reconciliation... I love it. Ah, plus the extra story about that ex-boyfriend of the uke in first story, it's amazing. "I will lend you money only if you kiss me." And the otaku boy kisses him for real for money to bid in a figurine auction! Ahaha, the best. I want more, tho. 8.5 8.5 8.5 8.5

AMAZING. My heart is still hurting, but I'm happy. Finally Shiro finds his happiness. His past is just too dark. Shigure's death on a rainy day, how tragic. And that's why he's afraid of falling in love. But Tora is just so right. I like that type of seme who treats his uke gently and loves unconditionally. I love it so much! So beautiful yet so heartbreaking yet it's so damn beautiful I cried at the end. Great job! 8.5 9 9.5 9.5

Chapter 4.5 (12 February 2013) Summary: Nishina is doing well at his prestigious company but after divorcing from a loveless marriage his success at work seems empty. A chance meeting at a cafe brings him into contact with the owner, Miyama, an old high-school classmate. It seems that Miyama has forgotten him until he asks Nishina why he's no longer wearing a wedding ring and what Nishina said to him 10 years ago in high school. This one is good. I underestimated this at the beginning since it seemed boring. But, after I forced myself to read through the end, I just realised that it had more meaning that it showed to me. Like, really good. At first I didn't know who the seme was and who the uke was, but it was obvious in some chapter. The seme, Miyama, was bothered by the failure of his first love in high school with Nishina. After ten years of graduation, they met again. Nishina who was married and then divorced because he seemed to not being able to forget his past, and Miyama who just couldn't let anyone love him. Their re-encounter triggered the old feelings from the past, and complicated things even more. But I just love how they got back together. Even though, it seemed like, Miyama still couldn't trust a hundred percent of Nishina's feeling for him. Great, I love the art. As expected from the mangaka of Yuuutsu na Asa. 8.5 9 8.5 8.5

Sayonara, Itoshi No My Friend

Complete | enzou | 2011 released

Chapter 11 (13 August 2014) Summary: Tatsuo is a makeup artist for a fashion photographer and is sick and tired of the models fawning over the new hairstylist, Haga. One morning, he comes across one of the models running out of Haga's room with tears in her eyes and has a long talk with him about how rude and antisocial he is. That's when Tatsuo realizes, Haga doesn't really know how to treat others and doesn't even have a single friend - until now? It's really amazing. I love how the author engaged human's emotions really well and realistically. Hajime was an expressionless, friendless man who claimed not needing anyone. He was a priority child so he didn't understand his own need. So Tatsuo made effort to be his first friend and helped him to get more friends or at least get more socialized. While doing so, Tatsuo had to struggle with his own growing feelings for Hajime. He loved him, but since it would only be burden to Hajime, he pipped it off, concealing it between his concern as a friend. But Hajime, finally feeling he got a friend, didn't understand his own feeling. When they kissed for the first time, he didn't understand and chose to stay away. Later in the main conflict, when he was caught by camera that he was kissing a woman, he didn't care anything but Tatsuo. He was only afraid of Tatsuo's rejection on him. So ... with face unexpectedly wet from tears, he confessed. I really liked it. The second story was alright too, it was about Hajime's older brother who seemingly hated him for being the top priority of their parents. Just like inferiority complex. No one had high expectation for him. Until one day, his coworker confessed to him. Then he accepted him. In their relationship, Makoto, (the older brother), started to feel loved. Finally there was someone who could accept his imperfection. But when they met Hajime somewhere and the seme talked to him freely, Makoto felt anxious again. So he asked to break up, before the wound went even deeper. But it didn't last long. He saw his little brother happy, he wanted to be to. When it was time to reconcile, it was done beautifully. It touched my heart. Really lovely. But still, I think the first story was way better. 3.5 (unique, esp the facial expression, but not good enough) 4 4 4
